Compartir con el resto de asistentes acerca de este cortometraje fue muy aleccionador. No imaginaba la cantidad de interpretaciones que pudieran extraerse de este video de casi cinco minutos.
Me alegro de haber estado allí, cada vez mi resistencia al Discord se va relajando con las propuestas interesantes y la calidad de las intervenciones.

Tengo la seguridad de que cada espectador encuentra un poco de lo que le hace ruido o sintonía dentro de sí. Cuando lo vi la primera vez me quedé en ascuas, de verdad que quería saber más, pero me impactó ese momento cumbre, cuando madre e hijo logran «verse», a través de la interacción de un chat.
El título del cortometraje es «Cocodrilo». A esta altura de mi exposición, espero que ya lo hayas podido ver y si no, este es el momento, para que no sientas que te hago spoiler.
Un hijo lleva tiempo separado de sus padres, posiblemente a causa de su homosexualidad; mantiene un canal de juego por Youtube en el cual interactúa, mientras explica los movimientos del juego, los participantes van haciendo preguntas personales y él respondiendo.
Dentro de los participantes está de incógnito su madre, intuímos que lleva tiempo haciéndolo y es su manera de saber del hijo, a escondidas del padre; en una de las respuestas a las preguntas del público, él explica que no cree que su madre, a quien tiene dos años sin tratar, le aceptaría de buenas a primeras un café, que no es tan fácil.
En ese momento, ella titubeante, intenta responder, hasta que se decide y escribe: «cuando quieras, cocodrilo» utilizando ese código de ellos, esa manera de decirle en su entorno familiar, a partir quizá de un disfraz de cocodrilo que usó en su infancia. Esta expresión unica, le muestra al hijo, el vínculo y se emociona.
Ese momento es el punto más impactante del video, el joven ve la pantalla y realmente pareciera que se estuvieran viendo, a él se le quiebra la voz, mientras sigue explicando sus gustos por algunos tipos de alimentos, quizá por alguna pregunta dejada en el chat, y a nosotros como espectadores se nos arruga también el corazón.
En el programa tratamos el tema de la madre, quizá de manera desprolija, de mi parte ,y con algunas generalizaciones odiosas, para enfatizar esa tendencia nuestra, ese apego a los hijos y el perdón. Todos sabemos que hay padres que están dispuestos a amar y perdonar sin rencores.
Es realmente un micro muy hermoso y me llama la atención como de algo con tan pocos minutos podemos extraer tanto contenido.
Todos hemos tenido momentos de desencuentros con familiares y amigos, indudablemente dolorosos, y la forma de sobreponernos y quitar las asperezas es impredecible.
Esas miradas, esa emocion, muestran todo lo que podemos recuperar al perdonar a esos amores tan grandes.

I'm sure that every viewer finds a little bit of what resonates or tunes them inside. When I saw it the first time I was on tenterhooks, I really wanted to know more, but I was struck by the climax, when mother and son manage to "see" each other, through the interaction of a chat.
The title of the short film is "Crocodile". At this point of my exposition, I hope you have already been able to see it and if not, this is the moment, so you don't feel I'm giving you a spoiler.
A son has been separated from his parents for some time, possibly because of his homosexuality; he maintains a game channel on Youtube in which he interacts, while he explains the movements of the game, the participants ask personal questions and he answers.
Among the participants is his mother incognito, we sense that she has been doing it for some time and it is her way of knowing about the son, hiding from the father; in one of the answers to the questions from the public, he explains that he does not believe that his mother, whom he has not dealt with for two years, would accept a coffee right away, that it is not so easy.
At that moment, she hesitantly tries to answer, until she decides and writes: "when you want, crocodile" using their code, that way of telling him in her family environment, perhaps from a crocodile costume she wore in her childhood. This unique expression, shows the son, the link and he gets excited.
That moment is the most shocking point of the video, the young man sees the screen and it really seems as if they were seeing each other, his voice cracks, while he continues explaining his tastes for some types of food, perhaps because of a question left in the chat, and we as viewers also wrinkles our hearts.
In the program we dealt with the subject of the mother, perhaps in a sloppy way, on my part and with some hateful generalizations, to emphasize that tendency of ours, that attachment to children and forgiveness. We all know that there are parents who are willing to love and forgive without rancor.
It is really a very beautiful micro and it strikes me how from something with so few minutes we can extract so much content.
We have all had moments of disagreements with family and friends, undoubtedly painful, and the way to overcome and remove the rough edges is unpredictable.
Those looks, that emotion, show all that we can recover by forgiving those great loves.
