Como saben llevo poco tiempo entre ustedes, pero ha sido el tiempo necesario para admirar el comportamiento de esta colmema, de cuán valioso es el trabajo de cada uno y de los beneficios que esto trae para los resultados grupales. Esto me ha llevado a reflexionar y quisiera compartirles desde lo personal, cuánto me han enseñado y cuánto he aprendido sobre la comunidad, el trabajo en colectivo, la unión grupal....
Confieso que ya teníamos nuestra fuerte convicción sobre la manada. Pero ustedes, queridos hivers, han venido a romper esquemas y a sobrepasar los límites de mi admiración por la magia de un colectivo.
Hoy, a manera de homenaje. quiero hablarles entonces, sobre nuestra filosogía de vida al respecto....
Donde muchos corren sin mirar al lado, les aseguro que nosotros más que el beneficio de la finalidad del viaje, disfrutamos de la compañía del camino.
Hemos de cierta manera, bebido de muchas culturas que creen en la unión como pilar fundamental para impulso grupal—la espiritualidad haitiana, el vínculo con los drelos, la cultura rasta— nos hizo entender que la vida no está pensada en singular.
La cultura rasta nos enseña que el ser humano es libre, natural, espiritual… pero sobre todo, parte de un todo. Que nadie sobrevive en soledad, menos en tiempos convulsos.
Un árbol puede quebrarse con el viento, pero un bosque resiste.
La filosofía rasta dice: “I and I”, que significa: yo y tú, como reflejos del mismo ser. No hay separación real. Somos uno.
Cuando conocimos todo esto, nos volvimos amantes de los drelos, por el fuerte mensaje que transmiten espiritualmente. Más allá de un peinado o una moda, son un llamado a la conciencia, a la reflexión, al análisis del ser humano como objeto social, pensado como una unidad dispuesta para un todo.
En nuestra experiencia como cantautores, trovadores y filántropos, hemos descubierto que la música y el servicio social son dos formas distintas de decir lo mismo: estamos aquí para compartir. Componer y cantar es un acto de entrega. Ayudar, donar, sostener a quien lo necesita, también lo es. Principios que he encontrado también en Hive y me ha enamorado profundamente de su "sistema".
La filantropía, para nosotros, no es dar lo que nos sobra. Es dar desde el alma. Es ver al otro como parte nuestra, como parte del mismo grupo espiritual. No creemos en dar por caridad, sino por hermandad. Y eso se conecta directamente con nuestras creencias: lo que haces por uno, lo haces por todos. Si levantas a un hermano, levantas al grupo entero. Y cuando el grupo se eleva, los dreglos se alegran.
Como pareja, vivimos también la filosofía de la entrega grupal: nuestras canciones son colectivas, nuestras luchas también, nuestras alegrías se multiplican cuando las compartimos. Nuestro existir, es casi público.
Hay frases que siempre recordamos:
“Una vara sola se parte fácil, pero un haz de varas no se rompe”
"Un pelo puede quebrarse fácilmente. Atando nudos, los dreglos, ganan en fortaleza."
Mensaje que queremos dejar: no temas unir tu fuerza a la de otros, no temas tender la mano, no temas compartir lo que sabes, lo que sientes, lo que puedes ofrecer.
Ser grupo nos hace fuertes.
Ser comunidad nos hace invencibles.
Y vivir así… nos hace libres.
Si tú también lo sientes, si también crees en otra forma de vivir —más amorosa, más solidaria, más espiritual— entonces ya eres parte. Ya estás aquí. Nadie va delante, nadie detrás...

Hello everyone, dear #holuslotus community. As you know, I have been among you for a short time, but it has been the time necessary to admire the behavior of this hive, how valuable each person's work is and the benefits that this brings for the group results.
This has led me to reflect and I would like to share with you from a personal perspective, how much you have taught me and how much I have learned about the community, collective work, group unity...
I confess that we already had our strong conviction about the pack. But you, dear hivers, have come to break the mold and exceed the limits of my admiration for the magic of a collective.
Today, as a tribute. I want to talk to you then, about our philosophy of life in this regard.... Where many run without looking to the side, I assure you that we, more than the benefit of the purpose of the trip, enjoy the company of the road. In a certain way, we have drawn on many cultures that believe in unity as a fundamental pillar for group momentum—Haitian spirituality, the link with the Drelos, Rasta culture—made us understand that life is not thought of in the singular.
Rasta culture teaches us that the human being is free, natural, spiritual... but above all, part of a whole. That no one survives alone, especially in turbulent times. A tree can break in the wind, but a forest resists.
Rasta philosophy says: “I and I”, which means: I and you, as reflections of the same being. There is no real separation. We are one.
When we learned all this, we became lovers of drelos, because of the strong message they transmit spiritually.
Beyond a hairstyle or a fashion, they are a call to conscience, to reflection, to the analysis of the human being as a social object, thought of as a unit ready for a whole.
In our experience as singer-songwriters, troubadours and philanthropists, we have discovered that music and social service are two different ways of saying the same thing: we are here to share.
Composing and singing is an act of dedication. Helping, donating, supporting those in need is also important. Principles that I have also found in Hive and I have fallen deeply in love with their "system".
Philanthropy, for us, is not giving what we have left over. It is giving from the soul. It is seeing the other as part of us, as part of the same spiritual group. We do not believe in giving out of charity, but out of brotherhood. And that connects directly to our beliefs: what you do for one, you do for all. If you lift up one brother, you lift up the entire group. And when the group rises, the dreglos rejoice.
As a couple, we also live the philosophy of group dedication: our songs are collective, our struggles too, our joys multiply when we share them. Our existence is almost public.
There are phrases that we always remember:
“A single rod breaks easily, but a bundle of rods cannot be broken.”
"A hair can break easily. By tying knots, the dreglos gain strength."
The message we want to leave: don't be afraid to join your strength with that of others, don't be afraid to reach out, don't be afraid to share what you know, what you feel, what you can offer.
Being a group makes us strong. Being a community makes us invincible.
And living like this... makes us free. If you feel it too, if you also believe in another way of living—more loving, more supportive, more spiritual—then you are already part of it.
You are already here. Nobody is in front, nobody is behind... We are all Welcome: TO THE CIRCLE.
