Para este 2023 decidí comenzar el año sin expectativas, abierta a las buenas nuevas que la vida tiene reservada para mí, eso no quiere decir que no tenga sueños y visión de futuro y trabaje por ello, pero estoy en la onda de ¡cómo vaya viniendo vamos viendo y haciendo sin estrés!. Ya empezando año inicie con actividades laborales y culturales con un cumulo de emociones unidas a situaciones de cambios que vienen haciendo en mi movimientos internos de mucha relevancia.

Así pues, fui invitada a participar en varias charlas de las que quedé fascinada y con un bagaje informativo para mi crecimiento personal y cultural de ganancia absoluta. Todo esto gracia a que forma parte de un colectivo de mujeres tamboreras con las que he tenido experiencias, de las que constantemente realizo reflexiones respecto a mi sentir y accionar en esta conglomerada y acontecida urbe.

All this thanks to the fact that she is part of a group of women drummers with whom I have had experiences, of whom I constantly reflect on my feelings and actions in this conglomerate and eventful city.

La primera vez que vi este instrumento fue durante la pandemia a través de youtube, en una charla que ofreció el cantautor venezolano Jesús Hidalgo quien hace música medicina, en ese video entrevistó a unos chicos mexicanos sobre el poder de la música y sus efectos, presentando su trabajo con el Handpan.

Después de ver este video quedé con el deseo de algún día conocer ese instrumento, y esto me incentivo a buscar información sobre música orgánica, cuando tuve internet me suscribí en un taller gratuito para encontrar a través de la música equilibrio y armonía en mi ser que para el momento era indispensable. Ante lo que escuché y conocí con instrumentos de cuerda, viento y de percusión quedé maravillada, por su origen ancestral ejecutados con misticismo cuya sonoridad nada inocente procuran en el organismo de los oyentes un sinfín de sensaciones.

When I had internet, I subscribed to a free workshop to find balance and harmony in my being through music that for the moment it was essential. Before what I heard and knew with string, wind and percussion instruments I was amazed, due to their ancestral origin executed with mysticism whose not at all innocent sonority procures in the organism of the listeners an endless number of sensations.
Mayor mi sorpresa tres años después se hizo el deseo realidad, pude conocer el handpan a través del maestro César Silva y su esposa Eudora, quienes contactaron a mi profesor de percusión para dar conocer el Handpan a la escuela Herencia. Atenta estuve durante toda la charla recibiendo ese regalo de la vida donde el maestro nos detalló origen y ejecución de este instrumento.

El día de la charla el maestro nos invitó a vivenciar la sonoridad del instrumento, invitándonos primeramente a conectar con nuestra respiración natural en tres ciclos, y posteriormente sentirnos receptivos para percibir las melodías ejecutadas por él con el handpan.

Estando sentada con los ojos cerrados tuve una sensación de hormigueo que comenzó en mi espalda subió por mi cuello, recorrió todo mi cerebro llegando hasta la frente y posteriormente esa sensación bajo cosquilleándome el rostro y se alojó en mi pecho generándome una sensación de armonía y sosiego perfecta, sintiendo que había descargado todo tensión en tan poco tiempo.

El maestro al vernos conmovidos nos confesó como llegó a tener y tocar este instrumento, el mismo llego a sus manos días antes de la pandemia, lo compro vía online, previamente había hecho una profunda investigación al respecto decidiendo aprender a tocarlo para hacerlo parte de su batería de instrumentos de percusión. Justamente cuando declaran a nuestro país el encierro, su esposa estaba lejos y él tuvo que quedarse solo en su casa con el instrumento.

Realmente este día me fui agradeciendo al universo por esta maravillosa experiencia que me hizo integrar lo que he venido interpretando respecto al poder de la música, el conectar con la melodía nos hace seres más afectivos y sensibles a lo que está presente, el handpan hizo vibrar las células de la audiencia generando emociones difíciles de ocultar.
This day I really thanked the universe for this wonderful experience that made me integrate what I have been interpreting regarding the power of music, connecting with the melody makes us more affective and sensitive beings to what is present, the handpan vibrated the cells of the audience generating emotions that are difficult to hide.

La música es poderosa y con su melodía nos saca un poco de esos estados en que la misma urbe nos impulsa e impone a estar conectados con un ritmo avasallante, penetrante e impulsivo, haciéndonos ciegos y sordos ante lo esencial. El Ritmo es tierra, es pulsante y penetrante, la melodía es aire – agua, es levedad y fluidez, y todos estos elementos son importantes en nuestra existencia, pero se hace más saludable e interesante cuando los integramos a favor de nuestras vidas y hacerlo a través de la música es más reconfortante.
The music is powerful and with its melody it takes us out of those states in which the city itself drives us and imposes us to be connected with an overwhelming, penetrating and impulsive rhythm, making us blind and deaf to what is essential. The Rhythm is earth, it is pulsating and penetrating, the melody is air - water, it is lightness and fluidity, and all these elements are important in our existence, but it becomes healthier and more interesting when we integrate them in favor of our lives and doing it through music is more comforting.
