Es un placer estar una vez más con todos ustedes en tan bello espacio que nos regala mi querida comunidad Holos&Lotus, deseando de todo corazón que todos los que hacen vida aquí esten muy bien al lado de los que aman y aprecian. La decisión correcta no siempre es la más fácil ni la más popular. A veces, hay que ir contra corriente y seguir tu propio camino. Sólo hay que tener voluntad y confianza en uno mismo, pero esto puede no ser tan fácil para muchos porque alejarse de lo que nos rodea, de todo lo que de una u otra forma es nuestro mundo, suele ser muy duro.

It is a pleasure to be once again with all of you in such a beautiful space that my dear Holos&Lotus community gives us, wishing from the bottom of my heart that all those who make life here are wonderful next to the ones they love and appreciate. The right decision is not always the easiest or the most popular. Sometimes, you have to go against the current and follow your own path. You just have to have the will and self-confidence, but this may not be so easy for many because moving away from what surrounds us, from everything that in one way or another is our world, is often very hard.

Aquí en mi pueblo hay un dicho muy popular que dice "el que se pierde, se pierde solo" haciendo alusión a que las personas que los rodean, como amigos, no son parte de la culpa de sus actos, pero algo que para mí no va de la mano con la realidad, ya que el ser humano puede ser muy influyente tanto para mal como para bien, pero tristemente lo más notorio son las malas decisiones que tomamos. Es cierto que todos podemos salir de todo esto, ¿cómo? Teniendo una gran fuerza de voluntad, algo necesario para triunfar en nuestra vida.

Here in my town there is a very popular saying that "he who loses, loses alone" alluding that the people around them, as friends, are not part of the blame for their actions, but something that for me does not go hand in hand with reality, since the human being can be very influential both for bad and for good, but sadly the most notorious being the bad decisions we make. It is true that everyone can get out of all this, how? By having a strong willpower, something necessary to succeed in our life.

Algo que debemos saber es que esta cualidad no nace ni crece de la nada, podemos verla como una planta, hay que cultivarla y regarla todos los días para que se fortalezca con el tiempo, y eche raíces fuertes, y esto va ligado a los valores y criterios algo importante para saber actuar ante cualquier decisión. Tengo la firme convicción de que los amigos son para toda la vida, pero a veces hay que tomar decisiones que demuestren el tipo de voluntad que nos hemos forjado.

Something we should know is that this quality is not born or grows out of nothing, we can see it as a plant, we have to cultivate it and water it every day so that it becomes stronger over time, and take strong roots, and this is linked to the values and criteria something important to know how to act before any decision. I have the firm conviction that friends are for life, but sometimes we have to make decisions that show the kind of will we have forged.

Una vez en el liceo, estando en cuarto año, unos compañeros, amigos míos, de lo más tranquilos, vi que uno de ellos sacó un paquete de cigarrillos y nos lo ofreció al grupo que estábamos, de hecho algunos lo agarraron sin dudarlo, pueden entender la presión que pude tener ante eso para no disgustar a mis compañeros, menos mal que tuve la firme voluntad de rechazar aquello y salir de lo más normal del grupo. Esto me enseñó lo importante que es ser más responsables y coherentes con nosotros mismos, y no depender de la opinión o aprobación de los demás. La fuerza de voluntad nos hace más libres y seguros de nosotros mismos, y nos permite expresar nuestra verdadera personalidad.

Once in high school, being in the fourth year, some classmates, my friends, in the most quiet, I saw that a classmate took out a pack of cigarettes and offered us to the group we were, in fact some took it without hesitation, you can understand the pressure I could have before that not to displease my classmates, thank God I had the strong will to reject that and leave the most normal of the group. This taught me how important it is to be more responsible and coherent with ourselves, and not to depend on the opinion or approval of others. Willpower makes us freer and more confident, and allows us to express our personality.

Y hoy puedo decir que es cierto que mantener una voluntad firme a la hora de tomar decisiones y no dejarme llevar por impulsos me ha permitido no caer en conductas dañinas y perjudiciales, ya que algunos de mis amigos ya no están con nosotros porque no se quedaron con un simple cigarrillo y fueron más allá. Cuando tenemos claro lo que queremos nos permite crecer y mejorar como seres humanos, en mi caso me ha permitido salir de mi zona de confort y enfrentarme a nuevos retos y corregir mis defectos y adquirir nuevas habilidades.

La fuerza de voluntad es capaz de superar cualquier obstáculo y hacer realidad cualquier sueño. Solo tienes que creer en ti mismo y trabajar duro.

And today I can say that it is true that maintaining a firm will when making decisions and not letting myself be carried away by impulses has allowed me not to fall into harmful and damaging behaviors, since some of my friends are no longer with us because they did not stay with a simple cigarette and went further. When we are clear about what we want it allows us to grow and improve as human beings, in my case it has allowed me to leave my comfort zone and face new challenges and correct my defects and acquire new skills.

The power of willpower is capable of overcoming any obstacle and making any dream come true. You just have to believe in yourself and work hard.
