LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT IT: JORGE AND THE LAND OF THE LONG SPOONS [ENG-ESP]

In life we usually face situations that allow us to understand how vulnerable we can become, however, these situations also teach us and fill us with experience that allows us to face different scenarios with a better understanding and attitude, so that we can fill ourselves with knowledge from lessons that are immersed in the least unexpected situations.

In this sense, the experiences we acquire, do not always come from tangible experiential aspects, but are the product of reading a good book, articles, or failing that, the contact with a good TV program, without forgetting, how pleasant podcasts can be.

Therefore, through this line of writing we will analyze interesting aspects that we can find in one of Jorge Bucay's stories, where through the experience shared by the narrator in his therapy with Jorge, we are led to reflect on human nature, highlighting interpersonal relationships, as well as the importance of our daily actions or behavior.

Our jump to Jorge's reflections: Alone and with others

Alone and accompanied, it is undoubtedly a story that lets us see life from different perspectives, hence, I will focus my point of view not in telling the story, since I prefer to share the book with you reader friend, on the contrary, I will leave my projections and interpretations about it.

In this sense, we can note that there are different stories in solo and accompanied and starting from this, I would like to start with the importance of maximizing our time, So we can notice throughout the writing that Demian questions Jorge's ability to calculate time, that he was so organized with it that in the midst of his disorder and disheveled personality he managed to finish his therapy, right at the end of a story.

Based on the above, we can see that we are in the presence of an acquired ability and that it responds to a process of synchronization, which could be compared to the way in which our lives often present us with challenges and opportunities, which we are responsible for initiating or ending, so that, just as Demian had a week to reflect on the story he was debating with Gordo, we also have time to assimilate, process and learn from our own experiences.

Hence, we must assume that time is our most precious asset so that we must be good stewards of it, keeping in mind that the present time is important, but also the ability to reflect on the past so that we can plan our future.

Similarly, through Jorge Bucay's story, we can see that as individuals we have the ability to face life from different perspectives, Hence the need to share problem situations, as this allows us to lighten the load and see problems holistically, which allows us to approach problems with greater objectivity and respect for the opinions of others.

We must be aware that sometimes we feel frustrated for not being able to make the most of our experiences in unexpected situations that in some way hide their true meaning, however, the guarantee of success comes from the fact of being able to ask for help, to share experiences and apply what life teaches us over time, as this allows us to grow and evolve in order to achieve our best version.

Likewise, throughout history (black room) we can embroider an attribute that is very marked at this time in history and that responds to egocentrism. that humanity has developed, where we focus on thinking only about ourselves and we are unable to offer our helping hand to others. Even knowing that our life has been created to give solutions and help and not to generate problems and obstacles.

However, in counterpart we can observe in the white room, that teamwork, collaboration and mutual service can transform impossible situations into something beneficial for all, and that is where we truly see the importance of interpersonal relationships.

Last and not least we can note that being authentic and true to oneself, allows us to act differently from the status demanded by society and this has served as an inspiration for many who, due to fear, are unable to fight for their true dreams.

Consequently, Jorge challenges us to reflect on our experience of the importance of relationships and the influence we can all exert in this society that demands real changes in our thoughts and perspectives that make us better people every day.

En la vida solemos afrontar situaciones que nos permiten comprender lo vulnerables que podemos llegar a ser, sin embargo, estas situaciones también nos enseñan y nos llenan de experiencia que nos permite afrontar diversos escenarios con una mejor comprensión y actitud, de modo que podemos llenarnos de conocimiento a partir de enseñanzas que se encuentran inmersas en las situaciones menos inesperada.

En este sentido, las experiencias que adquirimos, no siempre provienen de aspectos vivenciales tangibles, sino que son producto de la lectura de un buen libro, artículos, o en su defecto del contacto con un buen programa de tv, sin olvidar, lo placentero que puede llagar hacer los podcasts.

Por consiguiente, a través de esta línea de escritura analizaremos aspectos interesantes que podemos encontrar en unos de los relatos de Jorge Bucay, donde a través de la experiencia compartida por el narrador en su terapia con Jorge, nos llevan a reflexionar sobre la naturaleza humana, destacando las relaciones interpersonales, así como la importancia de nuestras acciones o comportamiento cotidianas.

Nuestro salto a las reflexiones de Jorge: Solos y acompañados

Solos y acompañados, sin duda es un relato que nos deja ver la vida desde diferentes perspectivas, de allí, que centrare mi punto de vista no en contar la historia, ya que prefiero compartirte el libro amigo lector, por el contrario, dejare mis proyecciones e interpretaciones acerca de la misma.

En este sentido, podemos notar que existen diversos relatos en solos y acompañados y partiendo de ello, me gustaría iniciar con la importancia de maximizar nuestro tiempo, de modo que podemos notar a lo largo del escrito que Demian cuestiona la capacidad que tiene Jorge para calcular el tiempo, de era tan organizados con es que en medio de su desorden y personalidad desaliñada lograba terminar su terapia, justo al final de un cuento.

Partiendo de lo anterior, podemos notar que estamos en presencia de una habilidad adquirida y que responde a un proceso de sincronización, el cual podría compararse con la forma en que nuestras vidas suele presentarnos retos y oportunidades, de los cuales somos responsables de iniciar o terminar, de modo que, así como Demian tenía una semana para reflexionar sobre el cuento que debatía con el Gordo, nosotros también tenemos tiempo para asimilar, procesar y aprender de nuestras propias experiencias.

De allí, que debemos asumir, que el tiempo es nuestro bien más preciado de modo que debemos ser buenos administradores de este, teniendo en cuenta que el tiempo presente es importarte, pero también la habilidad de reflexionar sobre el pasado de modo que podamos planificar nuestro futuro.

De igual manera a través del relato de Jorge Bucay, podemos observar que como individuo tenemos la capacidad de afrontar la vida desde diferentes perspectivas, de allí la necesidad de compartir las situaciones problemáticas, ya que esto no permite aligerar la carga y ver los problemas de manera holística, lo cual admite abordar los problemas con mayor objetividad y respetando las opiniones de otros.

Tenemos que ser conscientes, que en ocasiones nos sentimos frustrados por no poder aprovechar al máximo nuestras experiencias ante situaciones inesperadas que de cierta forma ocultan su verdadero significado, sin embargo, la garantía del éxito parte de hecho de poder a pedir ayuda, a compartir experiencia y aplicar lo que la vida nos enseña a lo largo del tiempo ya que esto nos permite crecer y evolucionar en función de conseguir nuestra mejor versión.

Asimismo, a lo largo de la historia (habitación negra) podemos a bordar un atributo que se encuentra muy marcado en estos momentos de la historia y que responde al egocentrismo que la humanidad ha desarrollados, donde nos centramos en pensar solamente en nosotros y nos imposibilitamos para brindar nuestra mano amiga a otros. Aun sabiendo que nuestra vida ha sido creada para dar soluciones y ayudar y no para generar problemas y obstáculos.

Sin embargo, en contra parte podemos observar en la habitación blanca, que el trabajo en equipo, la colaboración y el servicio mutuo puede llegar a transformar situaciones imposibles en algo beneficioso para todos y es allí donde verdaderamente vemos reflejado la importancia de las relaciones interpersonales.

Por último y no menos importantes podemos notar que el hecho de ser auténticos y fieles a uno mismo, nos permite actuar de manera diferente al status que demanda la sociedad y esto, ha servido de inspiración para muchos que producto del miedo son incapaces de luchar por sus verdaderos sueños.

En consecuencia, Jorge nos reta a reflexionar acerca de nuestra vivencia de la importancia de las relaciones y de la influencia que todos podemos ejercer en esta sociedad que demanda cambios reales de pensamientos y perspectivas que nos hagan cada día mejores personas.
