En mi publicación les comparto una recién exposición que se muestra en el Museo de Bellas Artes y estará hasta el mes de junio.
Zaida del Río, artista cubana extraordinaria, pintora, dibujante, grabadora, actriz, poeta, cantante, una creadora de muchas artes.
Con una larga trayectoria artística y reconocida en el mundo por su originalidad, belleza, espiritualidad.
Con su exposición Aliento, la artista entremezcla la naturaleza, el hombre y la religión en un conjunto de piezas que ilustran el devenir de una de las grandes dibujantes y pintoras cubanas contemporáneas.
Aliento", la escultura que da título a la muestra, es una mujer pájaro, que tiene sus pies en la tierra, pero sus alas simbolizan su deseo y proyección: atravesar muros infinitos.
"Siempre me pareció que eso le daría aliento a los demás; además, el aliento es lo primero que sentimos al nacer y lo último que despedimos cuando nos vamos de este mundo "
Sus mujeres pájaros que escaparon del lienzo y danzan llenando de floresta el viento que las acaricia.
Pareciera que al bronce le brotaron alas, como la imaginación de tan prolífera artista que en la tridimencionalidad de un sueños que vuela ingravidas danzas, como si no pesarán en femeninos ademanes que desafían las propiedades físicas del bronce.
La muestra forma parte de su reconocimiento como Premio Nacional de Artes Plásticas en 2023.
Elogió de su impronta el ser coherente consigo misma y la pasión con que se entrega al cambio y a la transformación.
Honor a quién honor merece.

In my publication I share with you a recent exhibition that is on display at the Museum of Fine Arts and will be until the month of June.
Zaida del Rio, an extraordinary Cuban artist, painter, draftswoman, engraver, actress, poet, singer, a creator of many arts.
With a long artistic career and recognized in the world for her originality, beauty, spirituality.
With her exhibition Aliento (Breath), the artist intermingles nature, man and religion in a group of pieces that illustrate the evolution of one of the great contemporary Cuban artists and painters.
Breath", the sculpture that gives the exhibition its title, is a woman bird, who has her feet on the ground, but her wings symbolize her desire and projection: to cross infinite walls.
"It always seemed to me that this would give breath to others; besides, breath is the first thing we feel when we are born and the last thing we say goodbye to when we leave this world."
His women are birds that escaped from the canvas and dance, filling the wind that caresses them with flowers.
It would seem that the bronze has sprouted wings, like the imagination of such a prolific artist that in the three-dimensionality of a dream that flies weightless dances, as if they did not weigh in feminine gestures that defy the physical properties of bronze.
The exhibition is part of her recognition as National Plastic Arts Award in 2023.
She praised her imprint for being coherent with herself and the passion with which she dedicates herself to change and transformation.
