Hola amigos de la comunidad de Holos & Lotus, espero se encuentren bien. Este mes se celebra el día del padre y a pesar de que ya escribí un post sobre mi relación con mi papá también quisiera abordar el tema de aquellas figuras masculinas que tenemos en nuestra vida y que se convierten en esos padres que enseñan, aman, apoyan y cuidan aún sin ser nuestros padres biológicos. En mi caso mi hermano es la figura de mayor ejemplo que he tenido en mi vida y a la vez la persona que me hizo sentir segura cuando la figura de mi padre estuvo ausente.
Hello friends of the Holos & Lotus community, I hope you are well. This month is father's day and although I already wrote a post about my relationship with my dad I would also like to address the issue of those male figures that we have in our lives and who become those fathers who teach, love, support and care even without being our biological fathers. In my case my brother is the most exemplary figure I have had in my life and at the same time the person who made me feel safe when my father figure was absent.
Mi hermano es mayor que yo por tres años, se que probablemente el tenía el deseo de tener un hermano o hermana y yo fui la segunda hija de la relación de mis padres. No tengo muchos recuerdos de mi infancia pero existen fotografías donde está mi hermano conmigo y puedo notar que siente mucho aprecio por mi aunque no siempre nos lo digamos, el cuido de mi y siempre trato de ser lo mejor que pudo como hermano y fue mucho más que eso, el es el ejemplo de inteligencia y de perseverancia más grande que he conocido, tiene un carácter fuerte pero a la vez es un ser humano de buenos sentimientos y de mucha humildad.
My brother is older than me by three years, I know he probably had the desire to have a brother or sister and I was the second child in my parents' relationship. I don't have many memories of my childhood but there are pictures where my brother is with me and I can tell that he feels much appreciation for me although we don't always tell each other, he took care of me and always tried to be the best he could as a brother and he was much more than that, he is the greatest example of intelligence and perseverance that I have known, he has a strong character but at the same time he is a human being with good feelings and a lot of humility.
Cómo todos los hermanos siempre hemos tenido discusiones y también una relación distante algunas veces, pero en los momentos más difíciles mi hermano ha estado allí con su presencia y con su apoyo, el me ha demostrado el amor más grande y una forma de ver la vida de distintas maneras. Recuerdo que siempre me cuidó cuando era pequeña sobre todo cuando estaba enferma y también estaba atento a mis estudios y que aprendiera aunque luego me dejó hacer mi propio camino sola. Tenerlo es una bendición y saber que puedo darle algo de felicidad a su vida, eso llena de alegría la mía.
Like all siblings we have always had arguments and also a distant relationship sometimes, but in the most difficult moments my brother has been there with his presence and support, he has shown me the greatest love and a way of seeing life in different ways. I remember that he always took care of me when I was little especially when I was sick and he was also attentive to my studies and that I would learn although later he let me make my own way on my own. Having him is a blessing and knowing that I can bring some happiness to his life fills mine with joy.
Se que uno no puede reemplazar la figura paterna y que está es sumamente importante al momento de crecer e ir formando nuestro carácter y temple ante la vida, pero mi hermano es el único hombre que siempre ha estado cerca y que a pesar de que no tenemos una relación actualmente tan cercana siempre contamos el uno para el otro en lo que podamos ayudar. El me enseñó a confiar y a perseguir mis sueños, me enseño que toda meta requiere de esfuerzo y de disciplina y es por eso que lo siento como alguien que formó parte importante de mi crecimiento.
I know that one cannot replace the father figure and that he is extremely important at the moment of growing up and forming our character and mettle in life, but my brother is the only man who has always been close and even though we do not have a close relationship we always count on each other for whatever we can help. He taught me to trust and to pursue my dreams, he taught me that every goal requires effort and discipline and that is why I feel him as someone who was an important part of my growth.
El es una persona muy tranquila pero que va paso a paso realizando cada tarea que necesite para lograr sus metas, hace poco logro graduarse de Contador Público en una de las mejores universidades de Venezuela, aunque no es la carrera que el siempre deseó, su perseverancia y su paciencia lograron que culminara parte de esa etapa de su vida y me hace sentir muy orgullosa de él, no por el título que tiene sino por qué a pesar de los problemas que enfrentó como falta de dinero, paros en la universidad, problemas socioeconómicos del país aún así persistió hasta terminar una de sus metas.
He is a very calm person but he goes step by step doing every task he needs to achieve his goals, he recently graduated as a Public Accountant in one of the best universities in Venezuela, although it is not the career he always wanted, his perseverance and patience made him finish part of that stage of his life and makes me feel very proud of him, not because of the title he has but because despite the problems he faced such as lack of money, university stoppages, socioeconomic problems of the country still persisted to finish one of his goals.
Mi hermano sin duda tiene un temple tan fuerte que le ha permitido lograr tantas metas en su vida que eso me hace sentir muy orgullosa de él, también se que el quisiera verme bien y feliz haciendo lo que me guste y quisiera que el pudiera lograr verme siendo exitosa en cualquier ámbito de la vida. El no es mi padre, es mi hermano pero es el hombre que me enseñó que no todos se van cuando las cosas se ponen difíciles, que existe la lealtad y el amor incondicional y que si algún día necesitara algo de él sin duda estaría para mí apoyándome. 🥹
My brother undoubtedly has such a strong character that has allowed him to achieve so many goals in his life that makes me feel very proud of him, I also know that he would like to see me well and happy doing what I like and I wish he could see me being successful in any area of life. He is not my father, he is my brother but he is the man who taught me that not everyone leaves when the going gets tough, that there is loyalty and unconditional love and that if I ever needed anything from him he would certainly be there for me supporting me. 🥹
