I stumbled upon you in a "casual" way, although to be honest with 34 years old I am suspicious of the word "casual" but that's another topic. The fact is that I was fortunate to find a community where you can touch on necessary and vital issues for the individual of today. We live in a highly digitized society and looking towards the virtual more and more, life in its most real aspect so to speak, is being relegated. More and more problems of anxiety, depression, emotional illnesses, suicides, etc. overwhelm our daily lives. However, we can use blockchain and digital media for good, in this case the fantastic Hive blockchain to address these issues and bring something of value to people and their personal development.
"La vida es como una caja de bombones, nunca sabes lo que te va a tocar"
""Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get."

Among the many lessons this tragicomedy teaches us, I was left with the acceptance of life's uncertainty. When Forrest Gump's mother taught him that phrase about the box of chocolates, she was giving him a profound philosophy lesson. Life in its most real aspect is difficult, it is easy to invent crutches to see life, but honestly living is not an easy matter, anyone who has gone through enough painful experiences in their life knows what I mean. People can say anything, say they have faith and conviction that things will happen this way or that way but the truth is that you never, ever know the course things will take. Life is uncertain, the next step may be the last, and if you are aware of that, you free yourself from fear, you accept that you don't control anything, you feel comfortable with emptiness, as Zen Buddhism proposes.

Forrest Gump is one of the few movies that I can watch without getting tired, I can watch it all the time and I always discover something new, in every character, in every scene, it has so much to teach us, maybe that's why it's a cult film, because it gives us a walk through all our emotions, we can laugh, we can cry, we can feel anguish and more. Another thing that makes me think about this film is that Forrest was a modern Stoic, Stoicism was a school of ancient philosophy that basically talked about not worrying about external events and take care of our inner self, among its most famous exponents we can name Seneca and Marcus Aurelius. If we look at the life of Forrest Gump we notice that he faced every change with firmness, he did not allow external opinions to affect him and it was not something forced but rather an unconscious reflection of his upbringing, surely you remember those scenes where he was told that "If he was stupid or what" to which he responded:
"Foolish is the one who does foolish things"

No one can give an exact definition of life, we can only experience it, life is a totality, how could we apprehend it in a concept? words are only words that's true, but if I could say something about life to my little son, I would tell him exactly what Forrest's mother told him.
Life is a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get....
