A lot of people think that happiness is the same thing as joyfulness, but they are actually quite different in many ways. While happiness is something that you feel based on fleeting emotional circumstances triggered by specific events, Joy is something deeper and a sustain state of contentment and gratitude even in the face of adversity and difficulty. Happiness is external and materialistic conscious while Joy is internal and spiritual in nature. This distinction is important to understand where this post is heading.
So, is happiness for sale? Yes and no.
In today's world, happiness is being packaged and marketed everywhere before us. A lot of people feel unhappy with their status in life, so they buy things packaged as happiness. For men, happiness is about having much money, fame, and pleasure, while for women it's about beauty and cosmetics.
Most ladies find themselves in unhappiness because they don't have the body type that other ladies have. They look at their chest, it's not heavy like that of the other lady they admires. They look at their back, it's all flat, and this makes them so unhappy. What they do to be happy is not something that we all don't know except we want to deny the truth. They go under the knife to have a full chest. BBL is not something we don't know about. All these are done in the pursuit of happiness.
We often say that money cannot buy happiness, but in today's society it seems that the opposite is true because everything that promise to make us happy comes with a price tag. A kitchen filled with food will make your wife and kids happy. A house with all the modern amenities will make your family happy. All these things are bought with money.
I know a lot of people might be against this post, but come to think about it: can anyone be happy when you are hungry or homeless? The answer is no, this is where the context of this post actually relates. When you are hungry you need food to eat, and food can only be bought with money.
So, when you go to the market and buy food with your money you are buying happiness for your stomach and peace of mind. And the happiness will show on your face after eating your meal. But you will become sad or unhappy again when hunger returns. That's is why the answer I gave to the question “Is happiness for sale?” Is yes and no.
Happiness is for sale when it comes to meeting basic human needs like food, shelter, beauty, and fame. But true lasting joy which is different from mere happiness cannot be bought with money because it comes from within, and it's rooted in spiritual fulfilment, gratitude and inner peace that passes material possession and temporary satisfaction that comes with them.
Once again, is happiness for sale?
The answer is yes and no.

Mucha gente piensa que la felicidad es lo mismo que la alegría, pero en realidad son muy diferentes en muchos aspectos. Se miran la espalda, es completamente plana, y eso las hace muy infelices. Lo que hacen para ser felices no es algo que todos desconozcamos, a menos que queramos negar la verdad. Se someten a cirugía para tener un pecho grande. El levantamiento de glúteos no es algo que desconozcamos. Todo esto se hace en busca de la felicidad.
Solemos decir que el dinero no compra la felicidad, pero en la sociedad actual parece ser lo contrario, porque todo lo que promete hacernos felices tiene un precio. Una cocina llena de comida hará felices a tu esposa e hijos. Una casa con todas las comodidades modernas hará feliz a tu familia. Todas estas cosas se compran con dinero.
Sé que mucha gente podría estar en contra de esta publicación, pero pensándolo bien: ¿puede alguien ser feliz cuando tiene hambre o no tiene hogar? La respuesta es no; aquí es donde el contexto de esta publicación realmente se relaciona. Cuando tienes hambre, necesitas comida, y la comida solo se puede comprar con dinero.
Así que, cuando vas al mercado y compras comida con tu dinero, estás comprando felicidad para tu estómago y paz mental. Y la felicidad se reflejará en tu rostro después de comer. Pero volverás a sentirte triste o infeliz cuando el hambre regrese. Por eso, la respuesta que di a la pregunta "¿Se vende la felicidad?" es sí y no.
La felicidad se vende cuando se trata de satisfacer necesidades humanas básicas como comida, techo, belleza y fama. Pero la verdadera alegría duradera, que es diferente de la mera felicidad, no se puede comprar con dinero porque viene de dentro y se basa en la plenitud espiritual, la gratitud y la paz interior que superan las posesiones materiales y la satisfacción temporal que las acompaña.
Una vez más, ¿se vende la felicidad?
