Somos el resultado de muchas personas que estuvieron antes que nosotros. Estas personas, nuestros ancestros, tenían un sinfín de cualidades, aptitudes, actitudes, emociones, sueños y genética, entre otras tantas cosas que han viajado a través de nuestro sistema familiar y que se manifiestan en nuestro ser como un regalo de ellos.
Sin embargo, muchas veces tenemos mayor resonancia con alguno de nuestros ancestros, aunque nunca lo hayamos conocido, inclusive aunque nunca lo hayamos oído nombrar.
Te acuerdas de la película “Coco”, donde Miguel tenía inclinación para tocar la guitarra, y esta habilidad provenía de su tatarabuelo, al cual nadie nombraba. En constelaciones familiares el tatarabuelo de Miguel es un excluido, pero eso será otro tema. Lo que importa aquí es que Miguel heredó de su tatarabuelo la habilidad para tocar guitarra.
Entonces que es la herencia
Imagino que cuando leíste el título del post pensaste en los bienes materiales (casa, tierras, autos, etc.), que heredan los hijos de sus padres, sin embargo ese no es el tema que vamos a tratar hoy.
Este post va a estar dedicado a las habilidades que heredamos, no solo de nuestros padres, sino de nuestros abuelos, bisabuelos, tatarabuelos y sigamos contando. Hoy vamos a dar honor a esos talentos, dones, habilidades que tenemos y que se corresponden a los mismos que tenía alguno de nuestros ancestros. Te gustaría ser parte de esta aventura? Mi herencia
Durante toda mi vida pensé que era pésima haciendo manualidades. Mi mamá tenía un talento innato para hacer manualidades: tejer, coser, bordar, etc. Yo con dificultad apenas aprendí a enhebrar una aguja.
Aunque mi mamá en vano intentó enseñarme en mi juventud, habrían de transcurrir más de 25 años para que mi talento innato se manifestara. Mi pasión es tejer amigurumis y lo hago de forma tan natural que no necesito un patrón para hacer un muñeco.
Durante mucho tiempo pensé que a mi mamá le gustaban las manualidades porque había estudiado en una escuela que educaba a las niñas para las labores domésticas. Luego de unir información en mi sistema familiar, he descubierto que mi bisabuela por parte de mi abuela materna, fabricaba hilo a partir de la lana de las ovejas.
A los ovillos de hilo les aplicaba color. Cuando los hilos estaban secos, los pasaba por el telar, donde fabricaba mantas y cobijas con muchos detalles. Entonces mi mamá heredo su talento para las manualidades de mi bisabuela y yo herede mi talento de ambas.
Como ves somos las suma de muchas partes, las partes de estas personas maravillosas que forjaron un camino, una vida, para que nosotros estuviésemos hoy, aquí y ahora. Sus habilidades, dones y talentos han viajado muchas vidas, muchas épocas, para que en este momento se estén manifestando en ti.
Que herencia se ha manifestado en tu vida
Hoy te invito a que honres a ese ancestro que te heredó tu habilidad, talento, o don, ese que te hace especial. Puede ser cantar, bailar, cocinar. Eres muy bueno con los números o te gusta trabajar la madera, esos son dones muy especiales. Se te da de forma natural las manualidades, cuéntame cual de tus ancestros tenía ese don.
Hay infinidad de talentos, dones o habilidades, y aunque pienses que no tienes ningún talento o el talento que tienes no proviene de ninguno de tus ancestros, no lo des por sentado. Pregunta a tus padres, abuelos o bisabuelos si están vivos. También puedes reunir información de tus tíos y los amigos de tus padres. Ellos tienen información valiosísima.
En caso que no encuentres información de ninguno de ellos, te tengo un secreto. Cierra los ojos, respira y cuéntanos lo que sientes. Tu ser sabe la verdad. Quizá ese talento ha viajado desde muy lejos y hoy se está manifestando en ti.

This post is going to be dedicated to the skills we inherited, not only from our parents, but from our grandparents, great-grandparents, great-great-grandparents and let's keep counting. Today we are going to honor those talents, gifts, abilities that we have and that correspond to the same ones that some of our ancestors had. Would you like to be part of this adventure? My heritage
All my life I thought I sucked at crafts. My mother had an innate talent for handicrafts: knitting, sewing, embroidery, etc. I struggled to learn how to thread a needle.
Although my mother tried in vain to teach me in my youth, it would take more than 25 years for my innate talent to manifest itself. My passion is knitting amigurumis and I do it so naturally that I don't need a pattern to make a doll.
For a long time I thought my mom liked crafts because she had attended a school that educated girls for homemaking. After piecing together information in my family system, I have discovered that my great-grandmother on my maternal grandmother's side made yarn from sheep's wool.
She would apply color to the balls of yarn. When the yarns were dry, she passed them through the loom, where she made blankets and blankets with many details. So my mother inherited her talent for handicrafts from my great-grandmother and I inherited my talent from both of them.
As you can see we are the sum of many parts, the parts of these wonderful people who forged a path, a life, for us to be here today, here and now. Their abilities, gifts and talents have traveled many lifetimes, many eras, so that in this moment they are manifesting in you.
