nos invitó a pintar la Navidad o, mejor dicho, a elegir el color con el que identificamos la Navidad a través de un comentario en una publicación realizada por él.
La verdad es que decidí dejar mis criterios en torno al tema en una publicación porque considero que es un tema que va más allá de fiestas, celebraciones y gastos excesivos.
Esta no es una publicación que intente evitar el festejo navideño, para nada. Más bien se trata de darle un valor verdadero a la celebración y ver los diferentes colores y matices que tienen estas festividades.

En la Navidad puede predominar una mezcla de rojo, naranja, amarillo, verde, azul, añil y violeta, que son los colores que vemos en el arcoíris.
¿Cómo relacionar cada color con la Navidad?
Rojo Es el color central de la Navidad. Representa la sangre de Cristo, el amor de Dios. Se ve en: Papá Noel (Santa Claus), los lazos y adornos, las velas, las flores de Nochebuena, las manzanas decorativas. Simboliza amor, calor y regalos.
Naranja Menos común directamente, pero se asocia al calor del hogar (las llamas de la chimenea), a la luz cálida de las velas y a las mandarinas/naranjas que a veces se colocan en los calcetines o decoraciones, simbolizando generosidad.

Para otros, la Navidad se representa con la ausencia de luz, el color oscuro, o te la dibujan con un color gris como la falta de esperanza.
¿Qué hacer entonces?
Considero que debemos ayudar a los más necesitados, mejorar nuestras relaciones humanas, demostrar a los que tienen menos que todavía hay partes sensibles en los seres humanos y, de esta manera, les estamos dando un aliento de esperanza.
Lo más importante no es el color, sino cómo pintamos la Navidad, la intensidad y el valor que le damos a las acciones que hacemos para alcanzar bienestar, ventura y satisfacción en los seres humanos.
Pienso, además, que la Navidad como acontecimiento cultural tradicional tiene su fecha establecida. Pero la Navidad debe ser durante todo el año, celebrando las buenas acciones durante los doce meses del almanaque para que el color que la identifique sea el color de la esperanza.
