Mis Rituales Navideños 🎄| My Christmas Rituals 🎄
Mi primer ritual es que cada año nos reunimos en familia para compartir con todos nuestras tradiciones y costumbres que realizamos en navidad, comenzamos con hacer una limpieza general a nuestro hogar, pintamos las paredes remodelamos alguna cosa, y al terminar encendemos incienso y velas para dar inicio a la navidad, con estos pedimos nuestros deseos y sobre todo damos gracias por todo lo que hemos vivido juntos durante el año, con una actitud de buena vibra y con optimismo al futuro.
My first ritual is that every year we gather as a family to share with everyone our traditions and customs that we do at Christmas, we start with a general cleaning of our home, we paint the walls, we remodel something, and when we finish we light incense and candles to start Christmas, with these we ask for our wishes and above all we give thanks for everything we have lived together during the year, with an attitude of good vibes and optimism for the future.
Luego, llego el momento de la decoración, como lo dije antes esto lo hacemos en familia, comenzamos con adornar el árbol, mi sobrino coloca las luces, mis hermanas y yo colocamos los demás objetos, como mallas, bolas, muñecos, flores, guirnaldas, los regalos en el pie de árbol, tratamos de que cada año sea diferente poniéndole algo nuevo o quizás cambiando los colores siempre manteniendo nuestra alegría, esto lo hacemos a partir del primero de diciembre, al son de gaitas, ya listo el árbol, brindamos con un vino o coctel por el bienestar, salud, armonía y prosperidad de nuestra familia.
Then, it was time to decorate the tree, as I said before we do this as a family, we start with decorating the tree, my nephew places the lights, my sisters and I place the other objects, such as nets, balls, dolls, flowers, garlands, gifts at the foot of the tree, We try to make it different every year by putting something new or maybe changing the colors, always keeping our joy, we do this from the first of December, to the sound of bagpipes, once the tree is ready, we toast with a wine or cocktail for the welfare and prosperity of our family.
Ahora vamos con los alimentos y platos especiales que realizamos como son las populares hallacas Venezolanas, la cual es el plato principal que engalana la mesa navideña, las preparamos antes del 24 de diciembre con mucho entusiasmo, cada miembro familia colabora en su preparación así que cada uno tiene una función.
Desde limpiar las hojas, hacer el guiso, armarlas y amárralas, es todo un proceso y todos organizados se hace muy fácil y rápido, además ponemos nuestro sazón y calor de hogar que las hacen exquisitas. Al momento de disfrutar de nuestra cena hacemos una oración y algunas veces nos vestimos de blanco, que simboliza paz, amor y unión familiar, tratamos de adornar la mesa con mucha comida donde no faltan los postres, las frutas y los granos sean lentejas y maíz que simbolizan abundancia, pero sobre todo mantenemos la armonía y felicidad desde nuestros corazones.
Now let's go with the food and special dishes that we make such as the popular Venezuelan hallacas, which is the main dish that adorns the Christmas table, we prepare them before December 24 with great enthusiasm, each family member collaborates in its preparation so everyone has a role.
From cleaning the leaves, making the stew, assembling and tying them, it is a whole process and all organized is very easy and fast, plus we put our seasoning and warmth of home that make them exquisite. When we enjoy our dinner we say a prayer and sometimes we dress in white, which symbolizes peace, love and family unity, we try to decorate the table with lots of food where there is no shortage of desserts, fruits and grains such as lentils and corn,that symbolize abundance, but above all we maintain harmony and happiness from our hearts.
