Happy start of the week, friends of #Holos & Lotus, I hope you are feeling well, and have had a great weekend, welcome to my blog!
Today, I want to join the initiative: "let's go for a walk proposed by my friend , and thank her for her invitation, when I think of a walk, I think of relaxing, de-stressing, freeing myself of tensions that we accumulate in our day to day; this can be anywhere, as long as it achieves in me those effects; although I confess that, I really like to go to places away from the city, where there are not so many people, and, I can enjoy nature.
Without further ado, I will share with you this trip that I have in my memories, and that I would like to repeat!
This trip, we made in 2016, a few months after the death of my father, I think we were all in that stage of denial or non-acceptance of the physical departure of him, so this trip was like an escape for the whole family, along with some close friends who accompanied us; We left very early at about 4am to a field called "morichote", which is about 3 hours from the town where we live in a small truck, I will not deny that the road is quite uncomfortable, plus we were several people, so we were a little narrow, but between conversations and stories, the road was short!
We arrived at the place, and, the excitement was that we were going to start our journey preparing some arepas of a fruit called "coroba", typical of this region, during the first hours of the morning the youngest ones were in the kitchen, and my mother we left her in a "chinchorro" resting, and the youngest ones, to play! imagine the bochinche of those children, in an open space!
The arepas were ready, we accompanied them with cheese and roast pork, we ate, and we were ready to continue with the tour!
After lunch, we got back in the truck, and we set out to go to a river called "majaguar", which is about 30 minutes from the camp, we made sure to bring what we needed: a thermos with ice, several bottles of water, because the river is very thirsty, and, of course, snacks, cookies, bread, sweets, I have told you that at home we are very sweet; and, we started the trip to the river; on the way the children were very excited!
When we arrived at the place, the view was beautiful, totally crystal clear water, several pools, some very deep, where only adults who can swim well can swim, others average, and some very very low, so low that you can touch and observe the stones underwater, it is ideal for the little ones; well, and for some adults like me, who can not swim!
It was gratifying to see my mother smiling and enjoying that moment, my children were happy, they were carrying a life jacket, and they enjoyed the water a lot, we played ball in the water, with my husband, children and friends, between laughs and jokes, the whole morning went by; At about 2pm, we returned to the camp, where lunch was waiting for us, some delicious cachapas with grilled meat, and some soft drinks that we carried in a cellar; we had lunch, and rested for a while; some took the opportunity to walk around the place, observe the landscape, the animals, and enjoy the moment!
At about 5 o'clock in the afternoon, we started our way back home, and on the way we met a man who came with a donkey, we asked permission to take a picture on top of the donkey; hahaha, there we stopped for about 30 minutes, between fear and laughter, several of us took pictures of ourselves! hahaha
We continued the trip, and, we arrived home at approximately 9pm, quite tired but very happy!
It was a magical trip!
