Esta vez se trata de la Represa de Calabozo.
Calabozo es una ciudad de Venezuela situada en el estado Guárico
Cuando llegas a Calabozo, lo primero que verás es su impresionante represa, que lleva por nombre Presa Generoso Campilongo (embalse del Río Guárico), en honor al ingeniero de origen Italiano que diseñó y construyó esta represa; en el año 1956.
Esta represa es una de las más grandes de Venezuela y de toda América latina.

This time it is about the Calabozo Dam.
Calabozo is a city in Venezuela located in the Guárico state.
When you arrive to Calabozo, the first thing you will see is its impressive dam, named Generoso Campilongo Dam (Guárico River Reservoir), in honor of the Italian-born engineer who designed and built this dam; in the year 1956.
This dam is one of the largest in Venezuela and in all of Latin America.

Así comenzamos a visualizar la inmensa represa, construida en la época del General Marcos Pérez Jiménez. Esta represa alimenta el sistema de riego de la zona para toda el área productiva de la región.

Avanzando, sigo haciendo mis tomas...me impresiona lo enorme de la represa y cómo la ciudad hace vida en torno a ella... Los turistas van a todas horas para tomar fotos, en la mañana, tarde y noche... Me incluyo jajajaj. Ya les muestro las hermosas fotos...
Moving forward, I continue to take my shots... I am impressed by how huge the dam is and how the city makes life around it... Tourists come at all hours to take pictures, in the morning, afternoon and evening.... I include myself hahahahahah. I'll show you the beautiful pictures...
