What a wonderful festival! I’ve never seen anything like it; the whole city was bathed in shades of pink thanks to those beautiful cherry trees. It’s amazing how many there are in the city, and what a lovely story there is behind them and that donation from the Japanese.
It’s also interesting that they have this tradition of hanging prayers and wishes on the trees. The photos look lovely; you’ve captured them from perfect angles to really show off the place, and it doesn’t matter that it was a cloudy day. It’s a brilliant, delicate and beautiful composition. Thank you so much and a big hug!!
