Why past years or centuries seem so interesting to us in comparison to today?

Since I was very young I have always believed that I was born in the wrong era, since I often dream of past times or moments in history, whether it is the middle ages in Roman times or the years when the Vikings sailed the seas making disasters; even the more recent 80's and 90's are historically much more interesting to me to the point that studying in depth the political and social context that was lived in those years is extremely addictive to me.

Over the years I have come across the pleasant surprise that I am not the only one who shares this particular taste, that the current world we live in does not seem so interesting to them.
That is the case of these two girls who love the theme of the 90's where the common thing of that time was leather, rebellion and rock and roll, and that curiously there has been a trend today to return to these old fashions and what many today call aesthetic.

One of the girls contacted me to do a session with this theme, to which I agreed more than delighted. The funny thing is that the friend who was supposed to come as a companion fortuitously came dressed in a similar look to the one I was looking for, so she gladly agreed to be part of the session. I still don't know if everything was previously planned by them, but I'm still very happy with the results.

¿Por qué los años o los siglos pasados nos parecen tan interesantes en comparación a la actualidad?

Desde muy pequeño siempre he creído que nací en la época equivocada, ya que a menudo sueño con tiempos o momentos pasados de la historia, ya sean la edad media en la época romana o los años en que los vikingos surcaban los mares haciendo desastres; incluso los más recientes años 80 y 90 son históricamente mucho más interesantes para mi hasta el punto en que estudiar a fondo el contexto político y social que se vivía en aquellos años me resulta sumamente adictivo.

A lo largo de los años me he topado con la grata sorpresa que no soy el único que comparte este gusto tan particular, que la actualidad del mundo que vivimos no les parece tan interesante.

Ese es el caso de estas dos chicas que les encanta la temática de los años 90 donde lo común de ese tiempo era el cuero, la rebeldía y el rock and roll, y que curiosamente se ha visto una tendencia en la actualidad a volver a estas antiguas modas y a lo que muchos hoy en día llaman aesthetic.

Una de las chicas me contacto para hacerse una sesión con esta temática, a lo que accedí más que encantado. Lo gracioso es que la amiga que se supone que venía como acompañante venia fortuitamente vestida con un look similar al que yo buscaba, así que encantada accedió a formar parte de la sesión. Aun no sé todo fue planificado previamente por ellas, pero aun así estoy muy feliz por los resultados obtenidos.
