This beautiful place is located along the Dobra River not far from Ozalj, and has become known throughout the region as the village of strudel. It is located in Karlovac County, and is a combination of tradition, local gastronomy and beautiful nature. In addition to gastronomy, Jaškovo delights with greenery, the Dobra River and the proximity of the old town of Ozalj, which makes it a perfect place for a weekend trip and an escape from the city crowds. The greatest fame has brought this place the famous Štrudlafest, a festival dedicated to the favorite local dessert, strudel. It was here that the Guinness record for the longest line of strudels was broken – more than 3 kilometers and almost 9,000 strudels! So small and yet so big in many ways.
