Despite being a music lover, I have not yet taken many photos of musicians in their performances, but the few times I have enjoyed them very much because I combine two expressions and languages so unique and important that mobilize masses from their modes and codes.

Photography not only records a concert, but it allows contemplating the moments in which artists express themselves not only through musical language, but also through body language.

This is something that the image can communicate, and I think it is important because it gives us more information than the artist provides.

It is true that we can listen to the music with our eyes closed and be transported to dimensions that the musicians expect (or not), but seeing them in action is a more intimate act between the public and them, thanks to photography.

Pese a ser melómano, aún no he hecho muchas fotos de músicos en sus performances, pero las pocas veces las he disfrutado mucho porque combino dos expresiones y lenguajes tan únicos e importantes que movilizan masas desde sus modos y códigos.

La fotografía no solo registra un concierto, sino que permite contemplar los momentos en que los artistas se expresan no solo mediante el lenguaje musical, sino a través del lenguaje corporal.

Esto es algo que la imagen puede comunicar, y me parece importante porque nos da más información que proporciona el artista.

Bien es cierto que la música podemos escucharla con los ojos cerrados y transportarnos a dimensiones que los músicos esperan (o no), pero al verlos en acción, es un acto más íntimo entre el público y ellos, gracias a la fotografía.
