Friends, at this meeting I wanted to capture some macro pictures of insects and these insects are included in the beetle category, their physical characteristics are truly unique, especially since I photographed them mating.
However, at that time I initially wanted to photograph a small flower, suddenly when I took the shot, I saw a pair of this type of beetle sitting quietly on the trunk of a flowering grass tree.
That's when I turned my attention and photographed this beetle and I managed to take several pictures of this species of beetle in various styles from the side, front and back.
In Indonesia, this unique beetle is known as the cotton beetle, but it also has a scientific name that is known to many people According to the scientific references I got, this beetle is called Anthonomus grandis, some say this species comes from Mexico.
