Hello Hivers
How are you all friends, this time I will try to participate in the contest that was published by a few hours ago, there are two themes that can be followed, namely macrophotography and closeup, and this time I chose the macrophotography theme where a snail being the object, here are some pictures as my participation for this contest
Lissachatina fulica is a land snail belonging to the Achatinidae tribe, originating from East Africa and spreading to almost all corners of the world due to trade, this mollusk is now one of the worst invasive species on earth, so that some countries even prohibit keeping it as a pet/pet including the United States. This animal is easy to keep and in some places even consumed, including in Indonesia. Despite the potential to carry parasites, reared snails are usually free of parasites

Here we call these snails by the name of snails and they are usually found in bushes that have high humidity. During the rainy season like now, many types of snails come out to make nests, and if they have found a place, they will stay until the plants or the flowers they were in were eaten up, as was the case with a taro tree that I had, some of the stalks had been eaten up by the snails, luckily I found this animal in time, otherwise the taro plant would have died
Snails are a type of snail that is small in size, while large ones are rarely seen here, the shape and color are the same, only the size is the difference, and according to sources, snails are also one of the types of land snails that are easy to find in any part of the world
In the photo above, you can clearly see how unique this animal is, they have a small face and beautiful eyes, slow movement is a characteristic of any type of snail, only in anime can they run as fast as possible, even beat the rally car😅
In some areas, these snails are also often processed into food, and to be honest, I'm a little disgusted when I see them, in my opinion snails are not food, especially as some opinions say that they cannot be consumed for certain reasons, but it comes back to each individual, who Surely they are unique animals
Using the macro lens that I have, I tried to see more clearly his face, he also seemed interested in taking photos of me, he even deliberately made several poses
From a close distance, you can see that this snail has a safe golden brown color on its face, its eyes are small and cute, and its hard shell also has a unique shape, and it's not surprising that some people keep these animals as pets, because they do have their own charm.
A red fly was seen riding this snail, he probably hoped the snail would run😅 but it seems impossible, the snail still looks relaxed with its super slow movements
Ignoring my presence, the snail continued its activities, it seemed to be enjoying the taro plant that it had claimed as its own, and I cut a stalk of taro for it, and took it away from the plant that I owned.
I deliberately took lots of pictures, because moments like this rarely happen, I prefer photographing insects, because there are several challenges when photographing them, but that doesn't mean I don't like snails, their uniqueness and beauty is no less interesting than other animals I've photographed.
I hope you don't get bored looking at the images I share, if you like them you can also save them, and I think that's all I can share for this contest, thank you for everything and see you again
