My visual world consists of appreciating everything I can perceive before my eyes, which I can capture and preserve forever with my camera. And what a joy the simple act of doing so is; it's impressive. Regardless of having an old camera, the act of taking the photo is the same, it's the same essence. Well, that's part of how I perceive this small world where I live within the vast world we inhabit, because it's true that it's only a tiny percentage of the scenes I see. In many places, there will be countless images and other circumstances.
A week ago, I heard about a photographer who was bored with what he did, which was taking photographs in the street, something he had always enjoyed. Well, he must have his reasons, but as I see it, something you enjoy should never bore you because you're always learning and refining those details. In this case, with photography, the goal is to improve that balance in the scenes, the subjects, figure and ground; it's about trying to fit everything within the photographic frame.
Today, as every day, I present this series of photos that express what I've said before. It's part of what I think and feel about photography, both as a profession and a hobby that is, and always will be, a part of my life.
All photographs are my own.
