Certainly, when I take photos with my cell phone using the wide-angle option, it tends to distort the images. Any large object, especially a building or architectural structure, becomes much more noticeable. This is evident in these photographs, all of which depict architectural works, and the image is distorted to varying degrees. For example, the first image is of a church, which, by its very nature, shouldn't have this distortion, but we can see it that way in the photograph.
However, despite these obvious distortions, they are somewhat interesting and striking in their composition. While it's not something I particularly enjoy, I prefer to create perspectives based on my own interpretation, playing with the lens and exploring different angles to create other forms. But what I'm showing here is also part of the photographic process, undoubtedly part of this visual space altered by the lens.
All photographs are my own work.
