ENGLISH VERSION
On a winter night I was meditating on my wanderings, looking for that inspiration that, because of the cold of the rain, was sheltering in the distance. In the midst of all the walking, I suddenly felt a light dew fall on me, and looking up I found the moon dressed as a maiden. She was splendidly beautiful, but her face emanated a deep sadness that was revealed in those tears that kept falling on my head. So without much to say, I took refuge in an umbrella and sat down beside her to listen to the reason for her unhappiness.
It all started one night when the moon was dancing and singing with love and intensity. Everyone in the sky was admiring her and applauding her, while she was only showing off the scent left by her glow with each dancer's turn. Her inspiration was so great that she immediately caught the attention of everyone present, until a comet that was wandering around changed its destiny to set its eyes on this beautiful princess. Blushing and embarrassed, the moon apologized for such a spectacle, but the truth is that the damage was done and now among her followers there was a comet in love.
It was several sleepless nights for a comet that now longed to know more about the moon, and between laughter and crossed glances he approached her just to feel the melody of her voice echoing in his heart. There was no reason to hurry time, but even so, they saw each other walking more often, laughing about life between phrases of affection and sincere affection. Then there was no more road to travel for a comet in love, and now there was a beautiful feeling blooming in the soul of an enchanted moon.
Trust and love were easily palpable between the two, as the comet confessed what in the past affected him: he remembers that before he became a comet he was a star painting words all over the universe, until in an instant he looked down, and in a breathtaking way the sparkling gleam of a stone brought him down from his chamber. He wanted to be as swift and fleeting as ever, but just before reaching his goal he discovered that it was a deception, a trap that nearly ended his existence. In spite of this sad experience, this dreamer comet has not stopped smiling because in the midst of it all, he has come to find in the moon that kind of love that only in verses and songs he knew.
At last it was time for a romantic rendezvous, where the comet would dress up while the moon would shine with the charm of her smile. All of creation learned of that sublime moment, to such an extent that some wanted to support such an event. Among them, a star-shaped ruby made an appearance in front of the maiden's palace. With an exciting and audacious tone, it offered to adorn the silhouette of the moon, and its sweetness was so striking that the moon thought it was a good choice. Thus the moon was already at her highest point of splendor, with the ruby hanging on her breast as she awaited the arrival of her tender lover.
But never before had the hands of the clock been so piercing to a maiden who seemed to despair at the absence of the comet, and it became more bitter the moment when someone whispered that they had seen it fly away along with other stars. The moon did not understand the reason for this rebuff, while the ruby that hung on her breast consoled her friend's pain. The feeling between a moon and a comet was inexplicably broken, while a strange stone that still adorned her chest became the best ally to vent a sad sorrow.
As time went by, that comet moved away from the moon, while she took refuge in the glow of a ruby that inexplicably arrived at the right time. And what one day became a great feeling of love, now became a poison that inflicted a lot of pain, a dagger that would soon reveal the reason for such a tragic outcome for a moon and a comet that seemed so in love and inseparable.
-When did you realize that it was because of the ruby that the comet had left you," was what I said to the moon when I understood the reason for her crying.
Because unfortunately many centuries had to pass before the moon realized that the comet never came close to her again, not because it no longer loved her, but because of the presence of a ruby that in the past was about to end its existence. That ruby acted brazenly and brazenly, with the clear intention of destroying the union of the moon and the comet through an evil secret, achieving a task that put an end to a path that for the moon and the comet could have been the best of all destinies.
With great sadness I bid farewell to the moon drowned in the tears of her innocence, hoping someday to hear again from her fleeting lover. Although, to tell the truth, on certain nights it has been he who has come over my roof, but his wound has signed a pact in which I can never reveal his whereabouts, while still breathing that dark secret that destroyed the heart of a lonely traveler and dissipated the love of a soul that has lost the brightness of his gaze.
