The memory of a different life fills Katherine's eyes with tears at night, adult life became quite miserable when she received that call that destroyed her, her little son Sebastian whom she had fired in the morning at school had been the victim of a terrible shooting while he was in class with his other classmates, although some only received injuries from the bullets, Sebastian who was in the wrong place, received one that ended his life in a second.
Katherine was devastated inside when she heard that atrocious event, in which her innocent little boy stopped breathing. After this, things were never the same again, everything lost its meaning for Katherine and the truth was that she did not want to live anymore. Prey of pain and a strong depression, she divorced her husband who constantly asked her that they needed help, but she did not want that help, she needed that pain to be able to feel Sebastian with her.
Even though every day Sebastian went to school, and it was a necessary duty she had to fulfill, Katherine blamed herself every second of her life for what had happened, repeating that she had made a grave mistake in allowing him to attend school that day, but how could she know? No one knew, in a world full of evil, people always prefer to hope for the best, so they never prepare for such a devastating situation.
El recuerdo de una vida distinta, llena por las noches los ojos de lagrimaa de Katherine, la vida adulta se volvió bastante miserable cuando recibió aquella llamada que la destruyó, su pequeño hijo Sebastián a quien había despedido en la mañana en la escuela había sido víctima de un terrible tiroteo mientras se encontraba en clases con sus otros compañeros, aunque algunos sólo recibieron heridas por las balas, Sebastián quien se encontraba en el lugar equivocado, recibió una que acabó con su vida en un segundo.
Katherine fue destrozada por dentro al escuchar aquel atroz acontecimiento, en el que su inocente pequeño dejó de respirar. Luego de esto las cosas nunca volvieron a ser iguales, todo perdió el sentido para Katherine y la verdad ya no quería vivir, Presa del dolor y una fuerte depresión, se divorcio de su esposo quien constantemente le pedía que necesitaban ayuda, pero ella no quería esa ayuda, necesitaba ese dolor para poder sentir a Sebastián consigo.
A pesar de que cada día Sebastián iba a la escuela, y era un deber necesario con el que tenía que cumplir, Katherine se culpaba cada segundo de su vida por lo que había pasado, repitiendo que había cometido un grave error al permitirle asistir ese día clases pero ¿cómo podía saberlo? Nadie lo sabía, en un mundo lleno de maldad,las personas siempre prefieren esperar lo mejor, así que nunca se preparan para una situación tan degarradora.
The culprit of this horrible crime that marked Kathetine's life was found and sentenced to life in prison, however although justice had been done Kathetine did not feel that way, who murdered her son was still alive with possibilities of getting out of prison and having a good life if he escaped, while her child who had not caused any harm, had been unjustly taken away from this world without mercy.
Kaherine, constantly thinking that the murderer of her little boy should pay with something equal or worse than what he did to Sebastian, her unstable mind due to the constant pain, lived thinking of different ways to end the life of that despicable man, even when these thoughts hurt her tormented mind even more.
But in her moment of greatest desperation, small hands gently pulled her blouse from her back, just as Sebastian used to do, and when she turned around with a hopeful feeling she realized that he was there, standing in front of her asking for a ham sandwich, she closed her eyes tightly and when she opened them her son was still there, so with tears in her eyes she began to prepare the sandwich, without even asking herself how it was possible.
El culpable de este horrible delito que marcó la vida de Kathetine fue encontrado y sentenciado a cadena perpetua en prisión, sin embargo aunque se había hecho justicia Kathetine no lo sentía así, quién asesinó a su hijo continuaba con vida aún con posibilidades de salir de prisión y tener una buena vida si escapaba, mientras que su niño que no había causado ningún mal, injustamente había sido arrebatado de este mundo sin Piedad.
Kaherine, constantemente pensaba en que el asesino de su pequeño debía pagar con algo igual o peor de lo que le hizo a Sebastián, su mente inestable debido al dolor constante, vivía pensando en diferentes maneras de acabar con la vida de aquel hombre despreciable, aún cuando estos pensamientos lastimaban aún más su mente atormentada.
Pero en su momento de mayor desesperación,una manos pequeñas jalaron suavemente su blusa desde la espalda, tal y como solía hacerlo Sebastián y cuando se dió vuelta invadida por un sentimiento esperanzador se dió cuenta de que él estaba ahí, parado frente a ella pidiéndole un emparedado de jamón, cerró con fuerza sus ojos y al abrirlo su hijo seguía ahí, a lo que con lágrimas en los ojos comenzó a preparar el emparedado, sin siquiera preguntarse cómo era posible.
Almost immediately the pain and resentment that was eating away at her had disappeared, she convinced herself that everything was fine and that what had happened had not really happened. But this time she would not make the same mistakes, she was afraid of losing him again and because of that going to school was not something Sebastian would ever do again, neither that nor going out alone without his mother's company.
Kathetine full of joy, wanted her husband to come back home and so, she ran to the place where he had been living and when he arrived, after a hug that he did not expect, she told him to come back, with the promise that things would be again as before, her husband puzzled and with a deep sadness in his eyes, looked puzzled at Kaherine.
How did Sebastian come back to life? What happened to Kathetine and her husband afterwards? I will tell you in the second part of this story.
Casi de inmediato el dolor y el rencor que estaba carcomiendo su ser había desaparecido, se convenció a sí misma de que todo estaba bien y que lo que había ocurrido no había pasado en realidad. Pero esta vez no cometería los mismos errores, temía volver a perderlo y debido a ello ir a la escuela no era algo que haría Sebastián nunca más, ni eso ni salir solo sin la compañía de su madre.
Kathetine llena de alegría, quiso que su esposo volviera a casa y por ello, corrió al lugar en donde había estado viviendo y al llegar, tras un abrazo que este no esperaba, le dijo que volviera, con la promesa de que las cosas estarían de nuevo como antes, su esposo desconcertado y con una profunda tristeza en sus ojos, miró desconcertado a Kaherine.
