HISPALITERARIO 7: ELEFANTES, EL ARTE DE ENTREGAR EL ALMA // ELEPHANTS, THE ART OF SURRENDERING THE SOUL // STORY

Respetar nuestra biodiversidad, han sido uno de los lemas que más se han escuchado en estos tiempos ya que de cierta forma, la humanidad ha comprendido las graves afecciones que nuestras acciones han ocasionado en el equilibrio de nuestro planeta.

Sin duda, la naturaleza nos enseña y hoy aprenderemos una clara y dura lección de cuán importante es el legado que nuestros antepasados nos han dejado.

Así comienza la historia de Dalton, un joven elefante que pudimos rescatar de la tiranía de algunos seres humanos, por algún tiempo, Dalton estuvo conviviendo con nosotros en una especie de albergue que habíamos desarrollado, era una de las formas en la cual podíamos invertir nuestro tiempo y recurso en su recuperación.

Así pasaron los días y este tiempo se convirtió en seis meses, dónde una parte de la naturaleza en su esplendor era proyectada a través de este maravilloso ejemplar, su bondad e inteligencia nos ha permitido comprender que la naturaleza la debemos respetar, ya que sobre ella se desarrollan diversas formas de vida que han llegado a esta tierra para cumplir un propósito determinado.

Sin duda. Dalton presentó una gran inteligencia, que nos permitió comprender que nuestra egolatría y nuestra forma de actuar como Dioses, no es más que una manera errada de ver el mundo, este valiente animal, nos permitió identificar que son capaces de cooperar de forma armónica en función de lograr un equilibrio y bienestar planetario, sin dejar de lado, lo obediente y cálido de sus acciones.

De manera que desde el ser más pequeño, hasta el más grande o inteligente en este planeta, ha llegado a un lugar determinado para cumplir con un ciclo de vida específico, al cual tienen derecho a cumplir y al que se le respete, por consiguiente, en estos seis cortos meses, Dalton se ha recuperado extraordinariamente y ya está listo para volver a esa vida salvaje que le espera en la amplia llanuras Africana.

En parte nuestro trabajo ha terminado, pero nuestro seguimiento a esta maravillosa especie continúa, hemos acercado a Dalton a una manada, la cual lo ha aceptado de la mejor manera y donde Él, ha podido adaptarse a las condiciones ambientales y a las condiciones que la propia manada le exige.

Son largos periodos de observación las que hemos realizado, sin perder el rastro de nuestro amado Dalton y es sorprendente poder identificar el tipo de comunicación que se da entre estas especies, ya que a través de sus fuertes pisadas sobre el suelo, pueden difundir información relevante para otras manadas que puedan transitar en su rumbo.

Así pasar los años, los elefantes moviéndose de un lado a otro en busca de mejores condiciones de vida y como una forma de evitar la casa inescrupulosa de los humanos que solo van con el propósito de poder extraer marfil de estos bellos animales.

Dalton con el pasar de los años, ha logrado convertirse en un líder innato en su manada y a través de nuestra observaciones podemos identificar el liderazgo que esté animal ejerce sobre sus compañeros, donde la solidaridad entre cada uno de los miembros de esta pequeña manada, para ser el punto que debemos resaltar.

Sin embargo, su liderazgo y anteriores experiencias, no han sido suficiente y lamentablemente ha sido presa de acciones inescrupulosas de los seres humanos y aunque ha podido sobrevivir nuevamente de estos actos, Dalton se encuentra brutalmente herido.

Nos hemos dado cuenta muy tarde y sólo nos queda observar, en este transitar, podemos ver como Dalton se aleja de su manada, es un indicativo de que las cosas no marchan bien, este comportamiento, es un ritual que está amable y maravillosa especie cumplen a diario, como una medida que permita buscar el lugar idóneo donde ellos puedan liberar su alma, la cual le ha sido asignada en este planeta y así poder descansar tranquilos.

Para muchos historiadores, la separación representa la búsqueda del cementerio de los elefantes y lo hacen de esta forma para no retrasar el libre transitar de su manada, de manera que es una especie de orden al sucesor de esta, para que tome el control y lidere de la mejor forma posible el caminar y transitar de su especie.

En su separación, solo buscan ese lugar idóneo que no haya sido conquistado por el hombre y donde ellos puedan descansar por el resto de la eternidad, es un acto de valor, gallardía y valentía las que nos modelan estas especies y aunque no se ha podido ubicar este cementerio de los elefantes, el simple hecho de separarse de su manada demuestran el amor y solidaridad que existe entre los miembros de esta especie.

Respecting our biodiversity has been one of the most frequently heard slogans in recent times, since in a certain way, humanity has understood the serious effects that our actions have had on the balance of our planet.

Undoubtedly, nature teaches us and today we will learn a clear and hard lesson of how important is the legacy that our ancestors have left us.

So begins the story of Dalton, a young elephant that we were able to rescue from the tyranny of some human beings, for some time, Dalton was living with us in a kind of shelter that we had developed, it was one of the ways in which we could invest our time and resources in his recovery.

Thus the days passed and this time became six months, where a part of nature in its splendor was projected through this wonderful specimen, its kindness and intelligence has allowed us to understand that we must respect nature, because on it are developed various forms of life that have come to this earth to fulfill a particular purpose.

Undoubtedly. Dalton presented a great intelligence that allowed us to understand that our egolatry and our way of acting as Gods is nothing more than a wrong way of seeing the world. This brave animal allowed us to identify that they are capable of cooperating in a harmonious way in order to achieve a planetary balance and welfare, without leaving aside the obedient and warmth of their actions.

So, from the smallest to the largest or most intelligent being on this planet, has come to a certain place to fulfill a specific life cycle, which they have the right to fulfill and to be respected, therefore, in these six short months, Dalton has recovered extraordinarily and is now ready to return to the wild life that awaits him in the vast African plains.

In part our work is over, but our monitoring of this wonderful species continues, we have brought Dalton closer to a herd, which has accepted him in the best way and where he has been able to adapt to the environmental conditions and the conditions that the herd itself demands.

We have spent long periods of observation without losing track of our beloved Dalton and it is surprising to be able to identify the type of communication that occurs between these species, since through their strong footsteps on the ground, they can disseminate relevant information to other herds that may travel on their course.

As the years go by, the elephants move from one place to another in search of better living conditions and as a way to avoid the unscrupulous house of humans who only go with the purpose of extracting ivory from these beautiful animals.

Dalton over the years, has managed to become an innate leader in his herd and through our observations we can identify the leadership that this animal exercises over his companions, where the solidarity between each of the members of this small herd, to be the point that we must highlight.

However, his leadership and previous experiences have not been enough and unfortunately he has fallen prey to the unscrupulous actions of human beings and although he has been able to survive again from these acts, Dalton is brutally wounded.

We have realized it too late and we can only observe, in this transit, we can see how Dalton moves away from his herd, it is an indication that things are not going well, this behavior is a ritual that this kind and wonderful species perform daily, as a measure to find the right place where they can release their soul, which has been assigned on this planet and thus be able to rest peacefully.

For many historians, the separation represents the search for the elephants' graveyard and they do it this way so as not to delay the free movement of their herd, so it is a kind of order to the successor of this one, to take control and lead in the best possible way the walk and movement of their species.

In their separation, they only look for that ideal place that has not been conquered by man and where they can rest for the rest of eternity. It is an act of courage, gallantry and bravery that these species model for us and although it has not been possible to locate this elephant cemetery, the simple fact of separating from their herd demonstrates the love and solidarity that exists among the members of this species.
