Me desperté un poco tarde a lo habitual, había dormido bastante bien, casi no me desperté anoche, el ruido de las olas me tranquilizaba cuando sentía algún ruido extraño.
I woke up a little late than usual, I had slept pretty well, I almost did not wake up last night, the sound of the waves calmed me when I felt some strange noise.
Por suerte a la hora de acostarme solo estaba yo y lo que parecía ser unos carros a lo lejos, se notaban por las luces que se podían ver en el cielo. Había un poco de música, pero con el pasar de la noche se fue acabando.
Efectivamente al despertarme pude ver a lo lejos unas personas, parecía ser una familia, con dos vehículos a sus alrededores.
Luckily at bedtime there was only me and what seemed to be some cars in the distance, they were noticeable by the lights that could be seen in the sky. There was a little music, but as the night went on, it died down. Indeed, when I woke up I could see some people in the distance, it seemed to be a family, with two vehicles around them.
Yo mientras me dispuse a asearme y a preparar mi café de todas las mañanas. Luego de tomarme el café busque en la nevera que tenía la van que podía comer hoy.
Una vez visualizada la comida, la preparé y la deje en un plato en la nevera, se trataba de un sándwich parecido al del primer día, pero más sencillo.
I got ready to get cleaned up and prepare my morning coffee. After drinking my coffee, I looked in the fridge for the van that I could eat today.
Once I visualized the food, I prepared it and left it on a plate in the fridge, it was a sandwich similar to the first day, but simpler.
Me cambié y me puse la ropa para ir a caminar por la playa aprovechando la fresca mañana.
I changed and put on my clothes to go for a walk on the beach, taking advantage of the cool morning.
Mientras me alejaba de la camioneta me iba acercando a los carros que veía a lo lejos, ya más cerca se podía apreciar que era una o dos familias, había un niño y una niña, y los padres y un pequeño perrito que los acompañaba.
As I walked away from the truck I was approaching the cars that I saw in the distance, and closer I could see that it was one or two families, there was a boy and a girl, and the parents and a small dog that accompanied them.
Los veo y sigo de largo, a la vuelta pensaba preguntarles porque se quedaron aquí y si seguirían quedándose por unos días más.
I saw them and continued on my way, on the way back I thought I would ask them why they stayed here and if they would continue to stay for a few more days.
Al llegar al final de la playa me devuelvo nuevamente y veo que la familia estaba como recogiendo para irse, me le acerqué al señor y le pregunté:
When I got to the end of the beach I turned back and saw that the family was packing up to leave, I approached the man and asked him:

Hola, buen día, ¿porque se quedaron aquí, vinieron a pasar una noche nada más?
Él me respondió:
Vinimos ayer en la tarde para dormir hasta hoy, pero me tengo que ir ahorita a buscar la torta para el cumpleaños de mi hijo.
Yo le respondí:
Oh vaya que bien, espero que lo disfruten si necesitan cualquier cosa estoy allá a lo lejos, la camioneta que se ve al final.
Él me dice:
¿Viniste también para pasar la noche aquí? ¿O ya te vas?
Le contesté:
Amigo yo vengo a pasar una semana aquí, vengo a desconectarme de la vida diaria, del ajetreo de todos los días. Vine a pasar unos días diferentes.
Él me contesta:
Si quieres nos reunimos y estamos más cerca para tener mayor seguridad y así compartimos. Pero si quieres no es obligado ni nada.
Yo sin pensarlo le dije:
Me parece una buena idea, pero, ¿me muevo hacia donde están ustedes o ustedes se mueven para allá?
Él me responde:
Yo voy para allá, tu pasarás una semana nosotros apenas el día de hoy y en la tarde noche nos toca irnos.
Le dije:
Perfecto amigo, yo prepararé mi desayuno y aquí los espero para ayudarlos y así organizamos las cosas que vayas a traer. Si quieres puedo meter la torta en la nevera que tengo aquí, así se conserva mejor.

Hello, good morning, why did you stay here, you just came to spend one night?
He answered:
We came yesterday afternoon to sleep until today, but I have to go right now to get the cake for my son's birthday.
I replied:
Oh wow how nice, I hope you enjoy it if you need anything I am over there in the distance, the van you see at the end.
He says to me:
Did you also come to spend the night here, or are you leaving already?
I answered him:
Friend I came to spend a week here, I came to disconnect from daily life, from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I came to spend a few different days.
He answers me:
If you want we get together and we are closer to have more security and so we share. But if you want, it's not obligatory or anything.
Without thinking about it I told him:
I think it's a good idea, but do I move to where you are or you move over there?
He answers me:
I am going over there, you will spend a week we just today and in the evening it is our turn to leave.
I told him:
Perfect my friend, I will prepare my breakfast and here I will wait for you to help you and we will organize the things you are going to bring. If you want, I can put the cake in the fridge I have here, so it keeps better.
Tal cuál así sucedió, el señor se fue en un carro y la esposa por lo que se podía ver estaba recogiendo todo para venirse al lado mío. Después de comer quise ir a ver que podía ayudar.
Pero mientras yo estaba desayunando y viendo que podía adelantar del almuerzo. Había pensado en preparar algo ligero, puesto que no quería reposar hoy acostado en la parte trasera de la camioneta sino más bien iba a descansar para meterme un rato en la mañana en la playa.
As it happened, the man left in a car and his wife, as far as I could see, was gathering everything to come to my side. After lunch I wanted to go and see what I could do to help.
But while I was having breakfast and seeing what I could bring forward from lunch. I had thought of preparing something light, since I didn't want to rest today lying in the back of the truck, but rather I was going to rest and go to the beach for a while in the morning.
Luego de terminar el desayuno y lavar el plato y los cubiertos me dispuse a ir hasta allá, para sorpresa casi todo estaba listo, solo faltaban algunas cosas que la señora me dijo que ella recogía y se iba para allá.
Yo le dije que está bien, y me fui de nuevo a la camioneta, saqué una silla y me senté afuera, luego llegó la señora, los niños se fueron a jugar en la orilla y yo me puse a ayudar a bajar todo a la señora. De tal manera que cuando llegara el señor solo estacione el carro y listo.
After finishing breakfast and washing the plate and cutlery I went to go there, to my surprise almost everything was ready, only a few things were missing that the lady told me that she would pick up and go there.
I told her that it was fine, and I went back to the truck, I took a chair and sat outside, then the lady arrived, the children went to play on the shore and I started to help the lady to bring everything down. So that when the man arrived, I just parked the car and that was it.
El señor trajo una torta grande, con decoración un tanto sencilla pero como le gustaba al hijo. La dispuse a tomarla y guárdala en la nevera. También trajo carne y pollo con ensalada y vegetales, adicional trajo carbón y una gran parrilla para hacer una parrillada a sus hijos quienes le gustaba mucho la parrilla y más si era en la playa.
The gentleman brought a large cake, with a somewhat simple decoration, but just the way the son liked it. I was ready to take it and put it in the fridge. He also brought meat and chicken with salad and vegetables, in addition he brought charcoal and a big grill to make a barbecue for his sons who liked grilling and even more if it was on the beach.
Le dije al señor si quería que lo ayudará, y me dijo que no había problema, pero que, si no tenía nada que hacer, que lo ayudara, así que me puse a ayudarlo, primero busqué el sitio para la parrillera y luego a prenderla para que se fuera calentamiento el carbón.
I asked the man if he wanted me to help him, and he said no problem, but if he had nothing to do, to help him, so I started to help him, first I looked for the place for the grill and then I started to light it so that the charcoal would heat up.
Luego el comenzó a sazonar la carne y el pollo mientras tanto su esposa con los vegetales hacía la ensalada. Después de terminar con el encendido del carbón le dije al señor que iba a preparar unas rodajas de harina de maíz para acompañar la parrilla.
Mientras yo hacía eso él fue montando la carne y el pollo. Luego después de terminar mis rodajas de harina de maíz las metí en el microondas para evitar que botara el calor. Y me fui a ayudar al señor con la parrilla.
Then he began to season the meat and chicken while his wife made the salad with the vegetables. After I finished lighting the charcoal I told the man that I was going to prepare some slices of cornmeal to accompany the grill.
While I was doing that he was assembling the meat and chicken. Then after I finished my cornmeal slices I put them in the microwave to keep the heat out. And I went to help the man with the grill.
Una vez que terminamos todo nos pusimos a comer, para ello armamos una mesa que trajo el señor y ahí pusimos las cosas y comimos.
Después de comer ayude al señor a recoger y limpiar todo, posteriormente nos sentamos a conversar para reposar la comida y hacer la digestión. Los niños se fueron a acostar uno en cada carro para hacer su rutina después de cada comida.
Once we finished everything we started to eat, for this we set up a table that the master brought and there we put things and ate.
After eating we helped the master to pick up and clean everything, then we sat down to talk to rest the food and digest. The children went to bed one in each car to do their routine after each meal.
Conversando ellos me comentaron luego de mi pregunta de porque dos carros para una familia si venían juntos, ellos me dicen que durante un tiempo se separaron y cada quien vivía por su cuenta al ser dos hijos un tomo a uno y otro a el otro, y mensualmente se cambiaban los niños para que así compartieran con los padres.
Talking to them they told me after my question about why two cars for a family if they came together, they tell me that for a while they were separated and each one lived on their own as there were two children, one took one and the other one took the other one, and monthly they changed the children so they could share with the parents.
Pero ya con el tiempo se dieron cuenta que no era lo mejor para los niños, por eso ahora pasan un mes en una casa y otro mes en la otra, pero que siempre cada uno andaba en su carro, por eso se trajeron los dos vehículos.
But with time they realized that it was not the best for the children, so now they spend a month in one house and another month in the other, but each one was always in his car, so they brought the two vehicles.
Luego ellos se fueron a tomar unas fotos para el recuerdo y yo me metí un rato, no podía desperdiciar la oportunidad de bañarme todos los días.
Concluyendo con el día me dijeron que le buscara la torta para cantar el cumpleaños e irse temprano para que no les agarrara la noche por la vía.
Then they went to take some pictures for the memory and I went inside for a while, I could not waste the opportunity to bathe every day.
Concluding with the day they told me to look for the cake to sing the birthday and leave early so that the night would not catch them on the way.
Después de comernos la torta me dejaron un buen pedazo para que me lo comiera en mi estadía en la playa y ellos se llevaron el resto. Los ayudé a recoger todo y posteriormente se dispusieron a irse y yo me quedé ahora sí completamente solo en la playa, parecía que todo era para mí al menos hasta el día siguiente.
After we ate the cake they left me a big piece to eat during my stay on the beach and they took the rest. I helped them to pick up everything and then they left and I was now all alone on the beach, it seemed that everything was for me at least until the next day.
Para este segundo día disfrutaba del ocaso que me regalaba esta hermosa playa.
For this second day I enjoyed the sunset that this beautiful beach gave me.
