Joshua and Ruth have been friends since childhood, they grew up doing everything together, they attended same church and even same school, as time passes they fell in love with each other but Ruth's parents were never in support of their friendship because Joshua was from a poor family. "I wonder how they will ever support our love"? They said to themselves.
Each time Joshua comes to visit, they will make mockery of him and his entire household but Joshua never relent as he kept visiting while he struggles to bring his household out of the hands of poverty. He was enthusiastic about growing and making money and could go any length to ensure he gets the money, so as to prove Ruth's parents wrong.
Ruth's parents finally decided to send her to study medicine in Oxford, they knew that way Joshua was never going to see Ruth again neither will Ruth ever think of seeing Joshua. A day to Ruth's departure, they both sat by the river and talked about their love thereby making promises to never leave each other, as they were madly in love.
The following morning Ruth left for Oxford leaving Joshua in a state of total confusion and not been able to focus but after weeks of continuous talks and support from friends, Joshua was able to get back to his feet and pursue his dreams of becoming a successful writer.
Ruth is a clingy type of lady who always wants to be pampered and given attention, so while she was away she never lets a day pass without communicating with Joshua. They talk on phone and chat on social media, most times they video call each other just to know how the other is faring and coping with the distance that existed between them.
Joshua's friend introduced him to a Blogging platform called hive, where he could earn for writing and as well improve in his writing and from there he could achieve his dreams of becoming a writers at first Joshua declined, thinking it was another Ponzi scheme.
After months of trying to convince Joshua to join the platform, he reluctantly agreed, his friend created an account for him and he started posting about all his written work, "so a site like this existed and I never knew about it" Joshua asked his friend.
With more knowledge gained from posting on the hive platform and offline activities he involved himself in, Joshua applied for a job in one of the writing firms in Oxford, he sent them some of his work which they fell in love with immediately after reading.

Two Months later, Joshua received an email that he has been offered the job and all preparations made so he can come over to Oxford, Joshua could not control the tears running down his chin as he called Ruth to share the good news with her.
Arriving Oxford, Ruth was already waiting at the airport. After six months of working, Joshua got married to Ruth and they lived happily ever after.

El amigo de Joshua le presentó una plataforma de blogs llamada colmena, donde podía ganar por escribir y también mejorar en su escritura y desde allí podía lograr sus sueños de convertirse en escritor. Al principio, Joshua se negó, pensando que era otro esquema Ponzi.
Después de meses de tratar de convencer a Joshua para que se uniera a la plataforma, accedió de mala gana, su amigo le creó una cuenta y comenzó a publicar sobre todo su trabajo escrito, "así que existía un sitio como este y nunca supe de él" Joshua preguntó su amigo.
Con más conocimiento adquirido al publicar en la plataforma Hive y las actividades fuera de línea en las que se involucró, Joshua solicitó un trabajo en una de las firmas de redacción en Oxford, les envió parte de su trabajo del que se enamoraron inmediatamente después de leerlo.
