“IF SOCIETY IS SAID TO BE A MONSTER, THEN WHAT ARE WE?”
Society has set norms and expectations that put every young dreamer into great tribulation and was forced to change their habits just to follow their standards. It engraves the sudden changes, burned old custom, and buried the light that once shone together with genuine laughter we hear from other people's mouths. Those real feelings and sincere joy were replaced with robotic routines and automatic-seeming way of interacting with others, that life itself got tired of these and finally decided to pack its things and leave the place it once considered as home— people.
Society got so messed up that it forgot what real living means. Children never leaving their four-cornered room, busy tapping the device that got them in love. Young dreamers striving hard just to get through darkness and depression, and the irony is they also make fun of this. Adults trying their best to find something for living while making sure their health is still healthy, and spit frustrated words at everyone that comes in their way once everything feels too much.
What's wrong? Or maybe, who's wrong?
Everyone contributed something in making things worst. We all shared the same amount of bitterness and bold decisions that made our moment of a blissful dream a nightmare. So quit pointing as to why, what, and who turned society a monster.
Because we all did.
In fact, we are the monsters.
