Visitando la tienda Mango Bajito en Puerto La Cruz

Tenía muchísimas expectativas al visitar la tienda Mango Bajito, que lleva poco tiempo de haber sido inaugurada en Puerto La Cruz, había escuchado tantas cosas buenas sobre esta tienda que las ganas de visitarla me superaban, ganas que tuve que controlar debido a las largas e innumerables colas que se hicieron durante semanas para entrar a ella, esto también me daba indicios de que la tienda era genial, es lógico pensar que cuando una tienda siempre está llena es porque algo muy bueno podemos encontrar en ella.

Recuerdo cuando hice el taller de bombones en Kemco, al preguntarle al chef dónde había adquirido los moldes para hacer los bombones de chocolate, nos dijo que fue, precisamente, en la Tienda Mango Bajito, habló muy bien de ella y dijo que la variedad de productos era estupenda y que los precios eran insuperables.

I had a lot of expectations when visiting the Mango Bajito store, which has just been opened in Puerto La Cruz, I had heard so many good things about this store that the desire to visit it overcame me, a desire that I had to control due to the long and countless queues that were made for weeks to enter it, this also gave me indications that the store was great, it is logical to think that when a store is always packed is because something delicious can be found in it.

I remember when I did the bonbon workshop at Kemco, when I asked the chef where he had acquired the molds to make the chocolate bonbons, he told us that it was precisely in the Mango Bajito store, he spoke very well of it and said that the variety of products was great and that the prices were unbeatable.

Estuve por varias semanas viendo como se desarrollaban las visitas en Mango Bajito para saber en qué día y a qué hora podría entrar con más facilidad, así pude notar que a eso de las once de la mañana de lunes a viernes se podía acceder a la tienda evitando largas colas, así que ya tenía mi plan listo.

I was for several weeks watching how the visits were developing in Mango Bajito to know on what day and at what time I could enter more easily, so I noticed that at about eleven in the morning from Monday to Friday I could access the store avoiding long lines, so I had my plan ready.

Una vez en la tienda pude notar que es un ambiente bastante espacioso y cuenta con planta baja y dos pisos, pero les adelanto que para mi decepción esta tienda no ha cumplido con mis expectativas. Soy del tipo de consumidora que le gustan las tiendas ordenadas y en Mago Bajito hay tanto y de todo que al final termina siendo una tienda poco prolija.

Como yo iba muy emocionada por todo lo referente al área de cocina, especialmente de repostería, empecé a ubicar estos ambientes. La tienda no cuenta ni con un solo letrero que permita ubicar las áreas de la tienda de una manera clara, otro aspecto que no me agrada es que es demasiado común encontrar artículos en un sector y luego verlos en otro sector. Las paredes son altísimas y los productos están ubicados a lo largo y ancho, y yo me pregunto cuál es la ventaja que tienes de estar en una tienda donde debes alzar constantemente la vista para observar los productos.

Once in the store, I noticed that it is quite spacious and has a first floor and two floors. However, to my disappointment, this store has not met my expectations. I am the type of consumer who likes tidy stores, and in Mago Bajito, there is so much and everything that, in the end, it ends up being a not very tidy store.

As I was very excited about everything related to the kitchen area, especially baking, I started to locate these environments. The store does not have a single sign that allows to locate the areas of the store. Another aspect that I do not like is that it is too common to find items in a sector and then see them in another sector. The walls are very high and the products are located far and wide, and I wonder what the advantage is of being in a store where you have to constantly look up to see the products.

Algo que me impresionó, es la inmensa pared de tazas, lo vi como algo que le da hasta un toque artístico, pero no es lo mismo ver las tazas colocadas de esta forma que los sartenes y utensilios de cocina que ocupan las altas paredes y colindan con el piso.

Something that impressed me is the huge wall of cups, I saw it as something that gives it even an artistic touch, but it is not the same to see the cups placed in this way than the pans and kitchen utensils that occupy the high walls and adjoin the floor.

Después que pude ubicar lo que asumo es el área de repostería, no conseguí ningún producto novedoso como me habían contado que podría conseguir en este lugar, así que en este apartado no fue una experiencia agradable.

After I was able to locate what I assume is the pastry area, I did not get any novelty products as I had been told I could get in this place, so in this section it was not a pleasant experience.

Claro que hay buenos productos y algunos son bastante económicos, sin embargo, siento que en tiendas más pequeñas y mejor organizadas existen precios competitivos. Yo esperaba que Mango Bajito me sorprendiera de forma positiva, pero aún no lo ha logrado, ya he visitado esta tienda dos veces y solo he llegado a comprar una taza y una toalla, porque imaginen que iba a comprar un envase de plástico y cuando la cajera fue a quitarle la tapa, pues se le rompió en las manos, lo cual me hace pensar qué de tan buena calidad son los productos de este lugar.

¿Tal vez vaya una tercera vez? Aún no lo sé.

Of course, there are good products and some are quite inexpensive, however, I feel that in smaller and better-organized stores, there are competitive prices. I was hoping that Mango Bajito would positively surprise me, but it hasn't yet, I have already visited this store twice and I have only managed to buy a cup and a towel, because I intended to buy a plastic container and when the cashier went to remove the lid, it broke in her hands, which makes me wonder how good quality are the products of this place.

Maybe I'll go a third time? I don't know yet.
