In this video, I discuss one of the recent comments I got on my channel regarding the new player experience. It was from someone who claimed to be a new player, who actually enjoyed the game and it's strategy, yet quit after one month when they decided it was not worth spending as much money as required to play at the most competitive levels. There is a lot to unpack here as the new player experience has come a long way in my opinion, but there is still a lot that can be done. Whether it's guilds, new formats, or other features the team can add, my hope is that the experiences that Splinterlands offer can be something that people at any level can come to enjoy. Live ghost card tournaments are definitely underutilized so I hope that can be expanded on as well.
