Todays battle gave me the opportunity to select some truly amazing and powerful monsters. I chose the best monsters available in my deck and entered the battle with them. The battle was interesting and we had good attacks from both sides.
Today’s 39 mana battle was really exciting especially because it included some interesting modifiers. In particular “Broken Arrows” and “Back to Basics” made the battle even more challenging.
In this battle I selected four monsters while my opponent chose five monsters. Both of us had the same Archon which was providing +1 heal in every round. Since it was a mid mana battle I kept my strategy quite aggressive and mostly used Melee Attack monsters.
I placed a strong Tank Monster on the front line and then added back to back Melee Attack monsters behind it including armored and Magic Attack units as well. My entire strategy was to quickly eliminate the opponent’s first two tank units at the beginning so that later with continuous healing I could eliminate the remaining enemy units one by one.
Unfortunately my opponent’s monsters turned out to be stronger than mine and their positioning was also much better. Because of this I faced defeat in the battle but despite that I learned a lot from the experience.
Now I am thinking that I should focus more on my Tank Monster and perhaps rent some monster cards that can help my front line survive for a longer time.
The rest of my strategy was actually quite solid because the enemy units were constantly under attack but since my Tank Monster did not have armor the front line was destroyed very quickly.
In todays battle my favorite monster was Vicious Quilliun which belongs to the Life Element. If I talk about its stats and abilities it has only a 5 mana cost which means you can use it in almost every type of mana battle.
It has 4 Health which defines its survivability. Along with that its 2 Speed is also quite decent and helps improve attack timing and also help miss out enemy attacks.
It is a Melee Attack monster with 1 Attack Power and it keeps attacking the nearest enemy unit in every round. Its most special ability is Opportunity which targets the enemy unit with the lowest health. This ability makes it both interesting and very useful.
As for its market price it is available at a very reasonable cost. At the beginner level it can be purchased for around $0.02 while its maximum level version goes up to approximately $0.13 where its powers become even stronger.
Overall it is not an extremely overpowered card but it definitely provides a good starting option for new players.
What do you think about this monster card? Do you already have it in your deck? Will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.
