In today’s 60 mana battle a very great and interesting battle was seen where because of the best strategy and best monsters selection, an excellent victory was achieved. High mana battles are always my favorite because we had enough monster cards to select and best position them.
In the battle rule modifiers two special rules were included which were Weak Magic and outsider. According to the first modifier all units had void armor because of which all magic attackers first hit the armor and only after that could damage the health.
In normal situations magic attackers attack health directly but in this battle that was not possible that is why the usefulness of magic attackers became quite low. The second modifier was that only one wild unit could be used.
Because it was a high mana battle six monsters were selected from both sides and keeping these rules in mind I prepared my complete strategy. Since the Weak Magic rule was present I selected only one magic attacker and that too because it also had melee attack support.
My whole focus remained on armored monsters so that enemy attacks could be stopped as much as possible. That is why I selected such monsters which had good armor and strong melee or ranged attacks. Along with that I kept my Archon on +1 armor so that the whole team could become even stronger.
I placed frontline tank monsters in the first two positions while after them I placed melee attackers and at the end a ranged attacker so that continuous pressure on the enemy could be maintained in every round.
In this battle the real success was in breaking the enemy armor as quickly as possible and then striking hard on their health. Thats why my main focus was on attack monsters to select.
The opponents biggest mistake was that he kept his Archon on +1 magic attack while also selecting three to four magic attackers with it. Since the battle rules were going against magic attackers, his whole strategy failed and I achieved victory very easily.
In todays excellent battle my favorite monster was “Hungry Ulund” whose stats and abilities are truly impressive. It is a low cost but extremely useful ranged attacker which can easily be included in any deck. Its mana cost is only 5 because of which it can easily be selected in low, mid and high mana battles.
Since it is a ranged attacker keeping it in the backline or midline is the best decision from where it keeps attacking the enemy continuously with +2 in every round. The good thing is that it also has decent armor and good health because of which it can survive for quite a long time against sneak attackers.
The longer it stays on the battlefield the more damage it keeps dealing to the enemy. Its speed is also excellent which further improves its attack efficiency.
Now lets talk about its price, it is available at around 0.01 cent at level one which makes it a very good and cheap option for every player.
What do you people think about Hungry Ulund? Do you have this monster in your deck? We will be glad to see your thoughts in the comment section.
