Hello Splinter-cells, I hope you are doing well.
Today, I am going to present to you guys a battle that is as old as my childhood friend, Tim, where the new summoners were not even anticipated.
I found it in a crypt that I had forgotten about and locked it in there. And now I found some more noteworthy battles that should be shared with you guys. Usually, I find players that blast me with ultimate-level monsters like Grund and Quora Towershed and then there are players that don't know what they are doing in this game in this bronze league. One such game, where I meet the latter is what I am going to show to you guys today.
There are 4 parts to this post before we get to the battle link:
- First: Battle Conditions.
- Second: Pre-Battle Details.
- Third: Major Events.
- Four: Results.
So, let's get right into it.
Battle Conditions
The mana cap was 17 and there were 5 summoners that we could choose from: Fire, Water, Nature, Death, and Dragon. I went with Thaddius Brood, the best summoner in the lower mana cap section.
The battle rules are:
- Lost legendaries: Legendary monsters may not be used in battles.
Battle Details
Let's start off with my side.
Tank: Cursed Windeku(Ability: Thorns).
Melee attackers: Undead Badger(Ability: Sneak), Silent Sha-vi(Ability: Sneak).
My original idea was to use the leech duo, that's Life Sapper and Venari Bonesmith. But, I dropped the idea since the Bonesmith would not do the poison effect hence it would not be as effective as it would've been in the Silver or Gold league. So, I went with a pair of high-speed sneak attackers.
The total amount of damage of 6, adding in the damage from 2 it turned to 8.
Now, for the opposition.
Summoner: Scarred Llama(Ability: increase in HP by 2, last stand, cleanse). This is a top-tier summoner in a low-class league.
Tank: Hill Giant(No Ability).
Ranged Attackers: Fungus Finger(Ability: Martyr).
Melee Attackers: Xenith Monk(Ability: Heal).
His strategy was beyond me... he wanted to keep his Monk as a shield for his Fungus flinger that would release a martyr effect on death but he kept his Hill Giant in the tank as if asking to be taken out.
So, his overall damage was 3, 2 from the Giant and 1 from the Fungus, and his Monk would heal itself by 2 each round.
Major Events
The first round wasn’t much of an action. The guy lost HP throughout the round while I sustained the minimal damage of 1.
His monk was at the end of his HP while his tank was nearing its end.
The first to fall was his monk, the annoying in the first turn of the round.
Next, his tank fell thanks to my tank.
And lastly, his insufferable Fungus died a lonely death.
Results
I had a great fortune to battle agains this guy back in the day when things were simpler. His strategy wasn’t as effective as he might’ve imagined. If he had only switched up his Xenith Monk’s place with Hill Giant, then he might’ve had a chance, perhaps.
