Two months ago, my homie told me she is going to draw a card character from splinter land and after two days she finished the art.
So, it inspired me to draw another one and I quickly found myself on the splinter land website wrapped in so many cards.
And of course, I choose to draw Lina the Dark.
I mean, why not? I'm good at drawing women's bodies. And she is so perfect. So, I thought I could draw her in my way, but I didn't know it would take 2 freaking mouths to complete the art. It's not like I was busy, I was just being picky. I changed her posture so many times because nothing seems to be perfect. After so many modifications I came up with this one.
Tools I used
- Medibang paint
- IPad
- Mobile
I didn't use any references to draw this. Though the pose is very ordinary. I drew her in the way I wanted to see her. The card version is quite bold and dark, but I wanted her to be soft and sexy, at the same time strong. But someone told me she looks like she is about to cry. I know it was a joke, wasn't it?
I spent hours making her curves looked sexy as hell and also the dress. I'm not good at drawing dresses, it's such a headache. So, I pick this one simple and easy
I made her hand grip more like a furious predictor, who haunts for souls. and coloured in dark but not all the way dark. It's more like shining silver.
Oh! And I also change her weapon into scythe and attached it in her back.
Now, here is the hardest part, at least for me. I'm really bad at drawing faces, but I tried my best to give perfect expression as a spirit of death.
If someone asks me which part of her face is your favourite? I would say the eyes. Those are my favourites.
Okay! I'm done here!
I'll let you comparison between the my version and the card version.
