Bitter Sweet Pack

So after recieving my first email from Splinterlands Gold Foil Press

I was quite shocked to learn that you can just purchase vouchers straight up off the Hive Engine...

What!!! How cool is that?? , so obviously grabbed some and snapped up 5 packs. I opened my first one and it was really exciting so my 2 sons who are also players came to gather round and we Oooohed and Aaahhhd over the new cards. Only fair so I gifted them a pack each and the Ooohing and Aaaahing continued followed by comments like "Oh thats a really good for this reason" or "I like to use that card a lot in my magic build". We have been playing little over a month now so managed to earn enough potions to be used for one pack each. So the final one for my youngest son (Hive account@ragingdwarf25) who had 7 potions of each and he reveals this Legendary Golden Beaut of a card...

So Obviously we are very happy and stoked for him as this is probably one of the best pulls for the current season. My other son (Hive account@greenbomb324) has turned a whole new shade of green though and even more so once we realised how much CP that works out to. Seems he will be able to level up quite a lot faster than us now as we grind out our DEC and fight our way to the top.

Opening packs is a really fun and exciting experience. So much so that shortly after that my brother-in-law who was witness to the event got the bug and signed up to join Splinterlands as well now. So welcome Hive account@rosskd to splinterlands and I will see the rest of you with my not very powerful Hill Giant 🤣
