Soon another Splinterlands season is coming to an end and the same question comes to mind. What season should I be playing in? Many cant answer this question. With the changes in rewards and the Splintercards chest value calculator obsolete since the introduction of SPS rewards we are lacking data to take an informed opinion. What is better? Getting 70 chests in Bronze or 30 in Silver?
Luckily we have some useful data coming from Splex that might help you take a decision.
CHEST VALUES PER LEAGUE
Based on the data from Splex we have the following chest values per league, based on the last 30d average value:
- Bronze: 0.02$
- Silver: 0.059$
- Gold: 0.18$
- Diamond: 0.589$
- Champion: 3.148$
What is interesting about this data is that surprinsingly, with the difference between Diamond and Champion, is that between leagues the difference of chest values is 1/3. Meaning that:
- 27 Bronze chests = 9 Silver chests = 3 Gold chests = 1 Diamond chest.
What does this tell us? If you are doubting if staying in a lower league of a higher one you should be earning atleast x3 times the chests in the lower league than the higher one. For example: If you are earning 20 chests in Silver you should be earning +60 chests in Bronze.
I hope this helps you do an informed decision for the next Season. Good luck with your season rewards everybody!
