Splinterlands Battle | Electric Eels.
Welcome to my blog where I'll share my winning battle with I've used Electric Eels on the battlefield.
Edited with PixelLab.
THEME: ELECTRIC EELS
Edition: PROMO
Rarity: RARE
Element: WATER
ATTACK: MELEE
ABILITIES: Reach at level 1; Blast at level 5
Electric eels can generate an electrical charge of up to 600 volts in order to stun prey and keep predators at bay.
I mean... these eels are gifted with a fantastic power to protect themselves and to catch their prey and we have these eels in the splinterlands as well. This monstrous fish is from the Promo edition and it's a rare water monster. For having melee attack with the "Reach" ability , this monster can be a great asset on the battlefield.
I've used this monster in level 1 on the battlefield with 1 melee attack, 3 speed & 5 health with the "Reach" ability, and it needs 4 mana to join a battle.

A Brief Info About The Battle
The battle mana cap was 16 with the "Fog of War" rule where I've used the water splinter with 4 monsters and my opponent used the fire splinter with 5 monsters.
My Lineup.
I had Sea Monster in level 1, Electric Eels in level 1, Albatross in level 1 & Furious Chicken in level 1.
And my opponent had his/her cards as Furious Chicken in level 1, Flame Monkey (Gold) in level 3, Zalran Efreet in level 1, Spirit Miner in level 1 & Creeping Ooze (Gold) in level 1.
Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.
No 01: Sea Monster (Common Water Monster)
I don't play with the water splinter that much but whenever I used to play with this splinter, I knew that Sea Monster should be at the front position as with its great power, it can take great responsibility. I think, with proper strategy, this monster can be a great asset, especially in the big mana cap battle. Having the"Heal" ability unlocked at the first level, this monster can be a nice supporter for the team with its big melee attack. Its "Heal" ability helps it to restore a portion of the monster's health each round which unlocks at level 1 with 1 card.
Right now, my Sea Monster is in level 1 which offers me 4 melee attacks, 1 speed & 8 health with "Heal" ability and it needs 8 mana to play.

No 02: Electric Eels (Rare Water Monster)

No 03: ALBATROSS (COMMON Water Monster)
I'd say this is the water splinter version of the Creeping Ooze cause it's also a 1 mana monster and it doesn't have any attack power like Creeping Ooze doesn't in the first level. This monster has the "Flying" ability for what it can be of help in some way and you may use it on the battlefield when you have 1 mana left but no more monsters to use.
I used ALBATROSS in level 1 with 1 speed & 1 health with the "Flying" ability and it needs 1 mana for battle.

No 04: Furious Chicken (Rare Neutral Monster)
This is the card that I use when there's a slot left but no mana left. I mean its service is great for free I suppose. Right now... I can't imagine playing a match without this card.
It's like the chicken that lays the golden egg. It provides great support with its counterattack. With 0 mana... it's just amazing.
My Furious Chicken is in level 1 with 1 speed, 1 health and It needs 0 mana to play.

Link to the battle.
For the special buff of my summoner Bortus, All the magic monsters of my opponent lost 1 magic attack each. And for the special buff of my opponent's summoner Pyre, all the monsters of my opponent got +1 speed each. And for the special ability "Slow" of my opponent's Creeping Ooze, only my Electric Eels lost 1 speed although every monster of my team could've lost 1 speed each if they had more than 1 speed but only my Electric Eels had more than 1 speed.
Then... for being the most speed holder, my opponent's Spirit Miner started the battle with its first attack on my Sea Monster and my Sea Monster lost 1 health out of 8 and right after that, my Sea Monster got the second shot from Zalran Efreet of my opponent and lost 1 more health and the Zalran Efreet gained 1 health as soon as it killed a health of my Sea Monster for having the "Life Leech" ability. Then my Electric Eels attacked first on behalf of my team and grilled the Furious Chicken of my opponent team.
Then my Sea Monster gained back its lost health by using its "Heal" ability and then it attacked and kind of burned the Flame Monkey of my opponent. Then Zalran Efreet of my opponent came forward, another round came to both teams, and like before, Spirit Miner and Zalran Efreet of my opponent together attacked and killed 2 health of my Sea Monster while the Zalran Efreet gained another health for life leech. My Sea Monster was gonna kill the Zalran Efreet with the next shot if that opponent monster just couldn't get another health although I had hope that my Electric Eels will kill 1 health and then my Sea Monster would remove that opponent monster from existence but my Electric Eels missed the shot this time (don't know why). Then my Sea Monster gained back its lost health again and attacked and killed 4 health of Zalran Efreet of my opponent out of 5.
There came another new round while both Spirit Miner and Zalarn Efreet of my opponent team attacked and killed 2 health of my Sea Monster and then my Electric Eels attacked and missed again and then this time my Sea Monster missed the shot as well after healed its lost health. I'm still confused why my monsters were missing attacks on the Zarlan Efreet. So another new round came and the same thing happened until my Sea Monster attacked. Then after my Sea Monser gained its lost health again, it attacked and killed the Zalran Efreet and didn't miss the target this time.
The only attacker Spirit Miner of my opponent came forward to the first position while the Creeping Ooze was still there on the back. The Spirit Miner started this round by killing 1 health of my Sea Monster. Then my Electric Eels attacked and missed although this one is understandable as the Spirit Miner has the "Dodge" ability for what, this monster has an increased chance of evading melee and ranged attacks. Then my Sea Monster gained back its lost health and attacked and killed 4 health out of 6 of the Spirit Miner. And then kind of the same things happened in another round just this time my Electric Eels didn't miss and killed 1 health of the opponent monster and my Sea Monster missed the target and left the Spirit Miner with only 1 health.
There came another new round, the Spirit Miner of my opponent attacked and killed 1 health of my Sea Monster likewise, and then my Electric Eels attacked and Killed that opponent monster although I thought my Electric Eels was gonna miss the target again but it didn't. Then the last survivor Creeping Ooze of my opponent came forward without any attack power and became the prey of my Sea Monster. Yeah, my Sea Monster gained back its lost health and then attacked with the big melee and sent the Creeping Ooze out of the battlefield.
The battle got finished in round 7 while my team still had all monsters alive. All my monsters did great on the battlefield.
