Absolutely love this piece of the Chaos Battle Mage by one of my favourite Hive artists of all time . I don't actually own this card yet.. but maybe I'll get it today.
Hi everyone!
I saw that the Wild Pass is now only purchasable in DEC (Ways to spend vouchers are changing):
Which should make things interesting... I have to imagine we'll see a lot less accounts in Wild now, so I'm curious how this will affect rankings going forward in both Wild and Modern.... or will there be the same amount of accounts, but just way more burning of cards? It's definitely going to be trickier for me to find 2000 DEC every season.
I just finished reading about the Hall of Legends and those new abilities look SWEET!
I immediately want them... and immediately know I cannot afford them.
I will be able to afford to buy a Mana Warden maxed card... but that'll use up all my vouchers... and I honestly don't know if we'll still be earning vouchers over time or not... and/or if other, better voucher cards are in the pipeline:

I really would like Elanor Bravefoot and Sanctus Vicar - both the new abilities are game-changing... but I don't know many people that'll be able to afford to max these out. I like that they exist though... if they can eat up a ton of DEC from richer players that's got to be good for the pin wheel overall.
The more DEC gets burnt up... the better for us all.
Match Report
Performance
| Stat | #Wild | #Modern |
|---|---|---|
| Rank | Champion #638 | Diamond #438 |
| Rating | 3880 - Champion III | 3140 - Diamond II |
| Rating High | 3920 | 3220 |
| Ratio (Win/Loss) | 1.29 (101/78) | 1.16 (108/93) |
| Longest Streak | 10 | 6 |
Pretty solid performance from ol' aussieninja this season.
I made it into Diamond II in Modern, which I think I might have only ever done once before... so that's very exciting. I just couldn't quite make it into Champs II this round though... again, it'll be interesting to see if the new 2000 DEC Wild Pass will make a difference in future or not.
Always keen to see my Win/Loss Ratio about 1 in both leagues.
I made an effort to use all my energy every day... so I think this is really the maximum amount of games I can play a season... since I'm not going to pay for energy (DEC is getting tight!) and I'm unlikely to buy chests in the reward store anytime soon.
I did both get smashed by my arch-nemesis and smash my arch-nemesis this season so I feel good about that.
Rewards Report
Earnt Tokens (Ranked Rewards)
| Ranked Play Wins | Tokens Received |
|---|---|
| 209 | ✨ 245546 Glint + ⭐1726.208 SPS |
| Season Rewards Claimed | ✨ 250550 Glint |
| Glint Spent | ✨ (455000) Glint |
Glint season rewards will show in the season they are claimed.
I think if I can keep playing all my energy each season, I'll keep earning around 450K-500K glint each season:
GatheringTheMagic1984 has a good video on strategies to spend Glint most days :
but really I'm just spending it once a season.
Alright, I want to check in with my current status of things first:
Since last season I've been selling or burning duplicate cards that I have in order to buy the remaining cards I need for Chaos Legion reward cards. The prices have remained very consistent over the last two weeks - and I think I've got them as good as I'm going to get them unfortunately.
In terms of the Rebellion Reward cards, this is where I'm at:
Which essentially is just this:
I'm going to continue my goals that I set last season:
1.) Get as much Glint as possible.
2.) Max out all reward cards to the Silver league as quickly as possible.
This means:
Level 5 Commons
Level 4 Rares
Level 3 Epics
Level 2 Legendaries
I think for sure I want the Level 2 Legendaries of the 1 MANA cards. I'm finding them way more useful that the others. The Epic cards I'm finding extremely useful in the Lose All Abilities rulesets, but tend not to use them otherwise (unless I can be confident they'll be killed in the first round).
So with nearly 500K to spend, I'll go the first batch of legendaries first:
Batch 1 of 10 Legendary Draws for 350K Glint (no potions):
Pretty excited to get the Frigid Wolf card... I've had it used against me and it seems very good. Pretty excited to get 3 more 1 Mana cards... that'll help!
Okay, I've got 147,608 Glint left... which I think I'll continue in getting as many Epic draws as I can. It costs 150K Glint to get 20 draws, so I'll have to get 19...
Batch 1 of 19 Epic Draws for 142,500 Glint (no potions):
This leaves me with 5,108 Glint remaining which I'll save for next season.
After combining the cards, this is what I'll be playing with this season:
🟣 Rental Report
| Type | DEC |
|---|---|
| Revenue | 602.088 |
| Expenses (inc. fees) | (24.073) |
| Cancellation Refunds | 0.000 |

I did reconfigure some of my rental prices, and it seemed to have increased by 10% or so.
⭐ SPS Report
| Type | ⭐ Amount |
|---|---|
| Staking Rewards | 5513.412 |
| Ranked Rewards as above | 1726.208 |
| Brawl Rewards | 1025.390 |
| Land Rewards | 1151.708 |
| Liquidity Rewards | 4745.262 |
| License Stake Rewards | 2030.804 |
| NET SPS | 16192.784 |
I also reconfigured my Liquidity Pools:
I had had DEC/DAI on Uniswap for years... so last week I pulled all that and dumped it into the Swap.Hive/SPS pool purely because the APR was higher for Swap.Hive/SPS than for Swap.Hive/DEC - will that be a terrible decision? Who knows?
Liquidity Pools weren't even a thing for me last season and now for some reason Staking Rewards jumped from 2120.782 to 5513.412 which makes me think that the liquidity pools may affect staking? I'm honestly not sure. Hopefully around the 15K SPS mark will be standard for me going forward. That's around $100 USD a month... not bad for playing a game.

There's so much happening in Splinterlands at the moment it truly feels hard to keep up.
I do really need to know what the future of vouchers is so I can make some decisions there, but otherwise I'm excited to keep playing to keep earning these reward cards.
Hope everyone is having fun... thanks for reading!
