Hope you are having a wonderful early winterfest. This weeks Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! lets explore " WHEN LIFE LEECH WINS BATTLES IN WINTERFEST " where i am going to share a team of lorkus let life leech help to win the battle where i am going a share battle link replay.


THE BATTLE
This battle is a 21 mana battle with death has no battle, lost legendaries and and ferocity battle ruleset against a very strong opponent. My opponent uses eternal tofu as his archon with his triage and heal strategy while i used lorkus as my archon using a life leech and affliction added tactics ability to counter my opponent healing. Where in this battle i almost lost the battle but the life leech provided to broken earth thug and dark arborist was the determining factor in the battle a lucky win i guess.

1. LORKUS - Lorkus is a legendary dual fire and death rebellion archon card. It is a 7 mana card and belongs to the human. Lorkus provides plus 1 melee attack to all friendly melee attack unit and plus 1 magic attack to all friendly magic attack units. It also provides added tactics ability to 2 friendly units. An option between affliction ability and life leech ability or trample ability and fury ability.

ADDED TACTIC ABILITY :

 | Affliction - 50% chance to apply Afflicted after a successful attack. Afflicted units cannot be healed |
 | Life Leech - Increases health and max health by 50% of damage dealt (rounded up) |

2. HALFLING REFUGEE - is a 1 mana epic neutral rebellion soulbound reward card. At maxed level it has 5 melee attack. At level 6 it has also 8 health and 3 speed. It has also two abilities; weary ability and heal ablity. Halfling refugee is my favorite tank in little league due to its high 5 melee attack and even high 9 health. Aside from that its ability to heal makes him a good choice although its weary ability gives some disadvantage in a normal battle ruleset.

3. DARK ARBORIST - Dark Arborist is a 4 mana neutral rare rebellion reward card. At level 8 it has 2 magic attack, 0 armor, 8 health and 2 speed. It also has close demoralize ability ( -1 melee power to all enemy units), magic reflect ability (Returns 50% of damage to attacker (rounded up) when hit by a magic attack) and void ability (50% less damage (rounded up) from magic attacks or 0 damage from magic attacks of 1 power).

4. PORTLY CANNONEER - - Portly Cannoneer is a rare fire conclave arcana card. since it is a black foil at maxed level it has 3 ranged attack, 5 health and 3 speed . It also has inspire ability ( +1 melee power to all allied units), return fire ability (Returns 50% of damage to attacker (rounded up) when hit by a ranged attack) and fury ability (Deals double damage if the target has Taunt)

5. BROKEN EARTH THUG - Broken Earth Thug is a 3 mana common death rebellion reward card. At level 10 it has 3 melee attack, 2 armor, 5 health and 4 speed. It has also opportunity ability (targets the enemy unit with the least health) and cripple ability (-1 to target's max health after each successful attack. Does not affect units with Immunity)

6. KHA'ZI CONJURER - Kha'zi Conjurer is a 2 mana fire epic rebellion soulbound reward card. At level 6 it has 6 ranged attack, 5 health and 5 speed. It also has incendiary ability (at the beginning of round 2 and each following round, applies Burning. Burning has a 33% chance to spread to either adjacent unit at the beginning of each round, then all Burning units lose 2 health. Burning can be cleansed) and piercing ability (damage in excess of the target's armor is applied to health)

In this 21 mana battle with death has no battle, lost legendaries and ferocity battle ruleset against a very strong opponent, my strategy and positioning is to used lorkus as my archon with added affliction and life leech tactic ability to dark arborist at second position which also provide anti melee defense and broken earth thug at fourth position to offer sneak attack. I then used halfling refugee as my tank . Then provide portly cannoneer at 3rd position that offer inspire to all friendly units and kha'zi Conjurer at last position due to its heavy 6 ranged attack although i don't like its incendiary ability that offer a disadvantage to the team.
