You Rent Your Cards, Stupid!!
There were/are a bunch of people constantly saying that I don't manage my Splinterlands deck properly! They are all correct. It's been ages that I have been struggling with my deck. I never got them properly separated. About a couple of month back with rise of rentals I have been feeling the urge to do something about it. Mostly using Peakmonsters, and various tips and cook books from my friends, who always help me more than I can absorb at a given time, I have been organizing my deck. I want to show you my rush job of poorly combining cards as a testimony (please don't be stupid like me!)
Yeah! See that? A 64 BCX Hero of Beyond! I have many others to hung on my wall of shame, but this is a good example of what NOT to do while combining multiple cards as a rush job in-game!
Anyways, that was a diversion as I explain my personal struggle to set up a rental account. I have been struggling with it for months and mostly missing out on revenue. It is not difficult, but I was just being lazy! So I finally did it today!
Human or Bot
Yes, just like anything splinterlands, there is that option. In this case, I have had multiple humans approach me to be my card rental manager for a fee. They came with some very good recommendations, and I know they do a great job. However, I sponsor multiple players with delegated playing decks, so after that, my card collection is relatively tiny. In other words, most of my cards are being used in gameplay, and I have a few cards left to rent. That means, it really won't generate much revenue to satisfy a human card rental manager.
So, the alternative ia a rental bot service. There are multiple available now. My friend put together a nice summary here which I heavily leaned on!

In addition, even after slow reading, when I was unsure, another friend helped me again for the n-th time with an even simpler steps to set up the SplinterRents discord bot, below:
TLDR
- Send $help to the SplinterRents bot
- Send $register 323776034770255874 to SplinterRents bot
- Grant posting authority to the account: splinterrents
- Send $add account name to SplinterRents bot
- Send $activate account name to SplinterRents bot
- configure settings if the default settings are not satisfying you.
Step 3 can be done in peakd
So after that I asked what the hell is that long number?
There you go folks! If you use this service please use Asher's referral number, that way, I can stay for a couple of days at his beach-front villa (soon!) LOL!
So, long story short. I did set up a new hive account (no you don't have to purchase the spellbook if you like to use it for rent only, but you do have to fight a battle!). So I did! And see, I won! I know, its a bye....I know!! But I did win.
Booyah!
As you can see, it only started, and doesn't have many cards in it. But I will see how it goes.
