Great post! I agree about how devs should put more priority on new player retention. As someone who started playing mid-September, I was hooked into the game by some early (admittedly very small) DEC and card rewards that made me feel hopeful about my prospects playing the game. Now playing in Silver and having a lot of fun. But if I were just starting out now, I'm not sure if I would have stuck around long enough to really invest myself in the game.
