In this article, we will take a detailed look at the gargoya scrapper. This is my favorite one mana cost creature and the one I play the most. My life team is the most leveled up for silver so the scrapper sees a lot of play. Below is the stats for the monster and then we will take a look at a battle using the scrapper
Gargoya Scrapper
The gargoya scrapper is for all intent and purpose a throw away card that you use to take up a few hits. The void at level three is quite helpful in equalizer matches as you can play him in the first position to soak up magic damage and allow the high dps archers in the back to do their work. I have him in gold foil and love to use him for the bonus with the new reward share system in matches. Now we will take a look at a battle using the gargoya scrapper in all his glory. Round 1
This is a silver league matchup with a silenced summoners and little league ruleset. Generally life is the play a like with little league given the two four cost mage monsters. I am playing a mylor play however he is not effective with the silence. As round 1 plays out, we are both able to eliminate one of our opponent's monsters. I took out his 1 mana cost tank and he eliminated one of my snipe archers. Not a great start for me.
Round 2
In round 2, we both take out another of our opponent's monsters and my gargoya scrapper is able to take a hit away from my main damage dealers leaving my magic monsters to be untouched. My zenith monk is doing it's job healing up in front and one of his opportunity monsters dropping to the first position was key to my victory.
Round 3
My time mage and elemental take out his vulture while my centaur eliminates his wood nymph. It is now all but over and finishes in round 4 with my time mage giving the killing blow.
Round 4
As you can see, the gargoya scrapper was a great distraction for my opponent's monsters. He can be used as a main tank or sneak/opportunity distraction making him highly versatile. I hope you all enjoyed this recap showing off the scrapper and please upvote or comment on how you like to use him in battle.
