Another week, another edition of the "Splinterlands KPIs" series, where I track several metrics I find important on a weekly basis to see how our beloved game & economy are developing.
For most KPIs, I put a quick visual indicator as follows:
🟢 Good progress
🔴 Bad progress
🟡 Middling
When deltas are shown, they indicate the week-over-week progress.

Crypto markets stayed strong this week, but SPS stayed completely flat and DEC dropped a bit. This also caused SPS's CMC rank to drop a little relative to other tokens. SPS burning went back to the slow pace we had before, though it is encouraging to see it continue despite DEC being still ~-20% to peg. Meanwhile, DEC burning resumed in a relatively healthy way, with 5.6M DEC being burned over the week.
Market activity remained close to $10k/day, which is very encouraging.

Rebellion sales still haven't started picking up, and may never do so. The promos, meanwhile, are continuing at a strong pace, with Heloise selling recently for an average of 1.3-1.4M DEC per card. The next set of promos looks very strong and I suspect we'll see >100M in DEC sales for that pair.

DAA dropped a little bit, however battles increased significantly, and reached a weekly high since I've started tracking these metrics, which is very encouraging.
On an unrelated note, the team announced the upcoming "Survival Mode", which will likely lead to a big increase in battles played as the "energy" in Survival mode will be the cards themselves.

While both signups and spellbooks went down a bit week over week, they both remained higher than the average we've had in the preceding months, so I'm maintaining some cautious optimism.

Discord members went down another 66, but Twitter followers increased a bit this week. Maybe we're going to start seeing some of the new marketing efforts bear fruit.
