Splinterlands Share Your Battle Challenge: Pirate Captain
This week PIRATE CAPTAIN was surely a tough challenge. His shooting skills must on point though since he comes with the Snipe ability despite holding a flintlock (boy, those things aren't accurate at all).
To be frankly honest, I don't use this card much because I think blue is better at directly tearing down the frontline. I don't own enough blue cards nor Selenia to make a unit like this work well enough for me.

Summary:
Smart viewers would see that I am only using 44/46 mana available, so I could straight up replace my pirate captain with a Sniping Narwhale. Let us talk about snipe units in blue though. I think Snipe units do best when you want to tear down the enemy middle/backline equally fast. In this case, many players tend to store some tankier units behind with Noxious Fumes in order to live until the last turn. Being locked into blue/dragon without even the help of neutral certainly made the selection difficult. This is one of the few times I would use a snipe unit in blue.
Another good ruleset would be all ranged/magic units gain blast, where Snipe excels (looking at you Yodin).
