Faction Rundown
If you are new to Splinterlands sign up here. If you like neat content, don't forget to disintegrate that follow button. Dragon's are a hybrid faction that represent the Dragons in Splinterlands. The dragons assisting all alliances time and again so no induvial faction would have more power than the dragons held. So due to this neat little lore tidbit, you can use dragons and dragon summoner with other faction cards. On average dragon summoners are harder to acquire and are more expensive to use, and usually offer less devastating buffs than summoners from other factions. This is to balance out the fact that the dragon faction offers a wider variety pool. Many use dragons as a mask all solution for their deck, however this starts being phased out at higher ranks as there will be a high percentage of fights in which dragons won't be a useable faction. Dragons, despite potentially appearing to be the strongest faction or a cozy decision for a battle ruleset but can lead to you being outnumber by equally strong single faction summoners and creatures.
Strategy and Placement
In this particular battle I used brighton bloom to not get damaged by earthquake. I warn you its a lengthy match for this post highlighting the concept of fatigue. A easy to predict move, but usually not much can be done about it aside from snare, but as far as card picks it still could be whichever cards. Due to that the strategy remains roughly similar as many opponents after a certain rating are expecting numerous flying units at the very least. Due to their being numerous powerful flying units. In this particular ruleset having a higher hp count and living lava's armor won me the duel. Additionally if living armor missed ant miners scavenge would've also let him outlast the enemy due to him getting damaged last.
Fatigue is just created to eliminate a standoff situation. Even though draws can still happen. Each enemy side takes 2 damage per unit, then incrementally 1 more each round, until 1 or both sides perish. But fatigue doesn't set it until many many rounds after initial play. Most matches will not witness fatigue. However, No units could actually attack one another until the first position bait card could be taken down by fatigue.
A drawn out path to a win, but can potentially happen if both players use a similar bait tactic. However, if it is further dragon tactics you seek check out this post here

Talking Tidbits and Conclusion
The dragon faction can be a powerful adversary, not to be mistaken in saying any other faction is not powerful too. In my opinion the variety that dragons offers but at a greater mana cost in the right mana cap can really cause quite a ruckus. But, you can be hit by harder single faction lineups that will leave you crumpled over too don't be fooled in thinking that people won't expect your dragons if you rely upon them too often. As far as fatigue goes, as much as it is a pain to watch those matches, it is recommended to understand its mechanics in the unlikely case of a standoff. Overall I was dragon out the match until fatigue could take hold.
I've also been dragon my feet with last weeks giveaway. So without further or do.
