The ruleset for this week's challenge
- Taking Sides - No neutral units may be used
The ruleset that I managed to get
- Rulesets - Taking Sides & Earthquake
- Mana Cap - 35
- Active Elements -
Here's my starting lineup
Summoner: Mylor Crowling
- With this ruleset that I got the summoner you would like to go with is Brighton Bloom to counter the Earthquake ruleset
- In my case sadly dragon element wasn't active so I decided to go with Mylor Crowling because Thorns is just so good
- Thorns - When hit with a melee attack, does damage back to the attacker
1st Position: Nectar Queen
- A strong melee tank with Flying
- Flying - This unit has an increased chance of evading melee or ranged attacks from units who do not have the flying ability
2nd Position: Pelacor Mercenary
- Even tho I have this card maxed I only could play level 3
- This was sad because he gets Heal at level 6
- But it was fine because he still had Flying
- Flying - This unit has an increased chance of evading melee or ranged attacks from units who do not have the flying ability
3rd Position: Flesh Golem
- I mainly picked him cause of his Heal
- Because of his heal I could play him in the 3rd position and he wouldn't take damage from Earthquake
- Heal - Restores a portion of the unit's health each round
4th Position: Kron the Undying
- I picked Kron the Undying for two reasons
- First because of hes great stats + he can attack from any position
- And the second reason was hes Heal ability
- Heal - Restores a portion of the unit's health each round
Starting board
- The starting board didn't really say anything other than I went with the defensive strategy (Flying & Heal) he went with the aggressive strategy (High damage)
- Only with this look at the board the battle could go either way
Here's how the battle went
1st Round
- The 1st Round was a total disaster for me
- My Nectar Queen was almost dead and hes board was looking almost the same as in the beginning
2nd Round
- After 2nd Round my Nectar Queen had died and I saw that my Pelacor Mercenary was about to fall as well if his Grund wouldn't miss
- So at that point I was quite scared
- But i remained hopeful because now his shields were gone and he was about to take 2 damage every round from Earthquake I just needed to stay alive long enough
3rd Round
- In the 3rd Round the boards were starting to look quite similar
- This battle was going to be a close one
4th Round
- 4th Round was so big for me
- Even tho my Flesh Golem died I managed to take down his Grund and two of his magic monsters
- Now it was 100% that I was going to win this battle and I just needed to wait
5th Round
- It took me Earthquake damage and 1 hit from my Kron the Undying to kill my enemies last standing monster
- After hes Goblin Psychic had fallen I took the victory

Summary
- This battle was definitely much closer than I wanted of imagined it to be
- I believe the strategy to take away from this battle is using Flying and Heal to counter the Earthquake ruleset
- Only thing I missed from Taking Sides ruleset was Furious Chicken
- If you also would like to hop on the Splinterlands train feel free to use my Referral
