Greetings to all my fellow players around the world and to Splinterlands. How are you all doing Splinters? Hope you are all doing great.

Building my deck in Splinterlands has been my goal ever since the new Modern Format was released. And every week I share this on Splinterlands Social Media Challenge my progress of the cards that I add to my card collection. Not to brag but to inspire and actually its not a lot in the first place😊. This week I was able to add two Epic from Rebellion Core Set. And since we are in the second week since the launch of CA Rewards Card I was also able to accumulate some of them and was able to use already in some battle.

🍃Satha Toledo

Satha Toledo is an Epic Unit from Earth Element and belongs to Rebellion Core Set. Has 1 Range attack, 1 Armor, 4 Health and 4 Speed at level 2. It has Tank Heal Ability and Lookout. Has a lot of utility for this card aside from his ability of healing the Unit in 1st postion and providing lookout to adjacent unit, Satha Toledo is best to pair with Risqruel Drath for an additional 1 Range Attack or with Eternal Tofu. A very effective Unit In Close Range and Going the Distance modifier. Not the MVP for a win in battle but certainly can change the outcome if use well. I will rate this card 8 out of 10 because of its ability and support it gives to my team.

🍃Croire

Croire is an Epic Unit as well from Earth Element and belongs to Rebellion Core Set. It has 1 Melee Attack, 9 Health and 3 Speed. Its ability are Weapons Training and Flank at level 2. The utility of this card is just so beautiful, pairing it with a unit without an attack and it will instanly serve as second tank and will gain Reach Ability. Depending on the Mana Capacity I can select from a wide unit with lots of health if it will fit in the mana of my team. The likes of Grimbardun Smith and Ulundeen Overseer are a good example of having so much health that even if Croire is killed I will still have a wall for my backline. Maybe best fit with Eternal Tofu as Archons to provide additional 2 health, Snare and Thorn Ability. In ruleset like Supersneak and Equal Opportunity, it is very usable as well. I rate this card 8 out of 10 just like Satha Toledo because of its ability.

This week I only manage to add two cards to my Card Collection as I needed to have some liquid $DEC because its just 3 days and it will be end of the season again. My rental expense has gone lower as I slowly accumulated cards but yeah I still do need $DEC until I get all the remaining copy of the cards I needed in battle. I am also renting $SPS, its part of the game, before I started collecting cards I was choosing between $SPS or Cards, so weighing which is much more important for me was crucial a decision. Since renting $SPS is fix in price I picked to invest in cards because prices of renting cards fluctuates. Another difficult part of renting cards is sometimes at the end of season when it is cancelled by the owner it will be hard to grab the same price of that card. It needs a fast hand and fast internet to be able to rent those important cards. Well anyway this is just my strategy and insights that I want to share with you guys of how I strategize on building my asset in Splinterlands. One at a time slow progress is still a progress as they say. And so far I was able to reach Gold II this season but I think I am going to fall again in Gold III. My winrate is 58.44%, I am happy with the result this season. With the addition of CA Rewards Cards I am sure it will boost my performance. I already had all the Common Cards at level 3 and my next target is to get the level 2 Rare Cards when season ends. For Epic and Legendary I think I need another season to get them.
