After completing my daily quest using the Fire Splinter, I decided to blow off some steam and take a break from consecutive fire matches. I hit queue and up pops:
Mana 16.
Holy Protection.
Heavy Hitters.
Fire/Earth/Life.
I'm aware that my splinter history is going to be broadcasting to my opponent that I'll be playing fire and as a result I'm likely to be playing against a Pyre lead fire team designed to counter the likely fire deck that I'd be using.
But there is no win more satisfying to me than Life playing a turtle style. It's as close to pacifism as it gets, sometimes it's good to take a break from all this mindless killing.
I rock up with my trusted Shieldbearer, his taunt ensures there's no going around him. Next up is my Furious Chicken, he will protect me in case there is blast on the opposition team. Finally we have my Armorsmith and Divine Healer, these two must patch up my Shieldbearer before my opponent can take him out or all is lost.
I won't spoil it for you, suffice to say it was very close and could've gone either way.
