So this AMA, 11/26 at 2 PM EST, we've seen not 2 splinters, but THREE. Life, Neutral, and Dragon!!!

So let's check out these new Life monster teasers, along with my speculations on what their abilities, role, and stats might be! We'll start with

General Sloan

So this one is a surprise for me: I don't KNOW if General Sloan or Time Mage are the Life Summoner/Monster, so I'll be doing speculations for BOTH as a Monster, and as a Summoner:

As a Summoner, this guy looks like a -1 HP or +1 Magic Summoner, that spooky red magic looks vicious and unusual for Life, and I imagine he's some sort of 'messed up' Life Summoner, who maybe manipulates blood/life...?

As a Monster, I see a magic tank right here. This is a 6 or 7 Mana cost monster, with maybe 1 Magic Attack, 1 Armor, and 8 Health, with 1 Speed. I believe he either has Shield, Enrage, or Last Stand, which would put him in line with Efreet Elder, and make him a slower, tankier card, or put him in line with Naga Fire Wizard in the Fire Splinter. Either of these would be an awesome addition to Life's repertoire of Magic Attackers, and giving a solid tank that is non-melee/range.

Prismologist

Our Epic monster, this looks like a summoner too to be honest, but I'm going to treat it as a monster, under the assumption that all the base Summoners in CL are Rares.

She utilizes Crystals, I'm expecting her to cost 4-5 Mana, and she'll have 1-2 Range or Magic damage. (2 is Ranged, 1 if Magic IMO). I think her affinity to Crystals will lead to a few possibilies for abilities, my favorite though: Amplify, I believe this is our Life Amplifier.

If not Amplify, I expect to see something like Protect, Magic Reflect, Piercing, or Cleanse. Finally, she'll have something like 2 Speed, 1 Armor, and 4 Health. Her ability will largely be why she is powerful, IMO, especially if she ends up with Amplify.

Time Mage

So, in the previous previews, the 2nd Rare is usually the Summoner, so I'm going to assume this is the new summoner, and the other one is more likely to be a monster, but honestly, who knows! Since I missed it, I will be doing both.

As a summoner, she is easily a +1 Speed or -1 Speed Summoner, as her ability would revolve around time. Honestly though, this is a very underwhelming ability for Life, in my opinion, although I suppose I can see the potency of it when thinking of Pyre.

As a monster, she would definitely be a magic attacker, I would guess something along the lines of Boogeyman, where she would cost about 6 Mana, with 2 Magic, 2 Speed, 4 Health, and the ability Slow. I expect that she would gain other time related abilities, so, Swiftness and maybe something like Cleanse or Ressurect as a way of 'undoing' damage done. Another possibility is Dispel to 'reset' enemies back to their original stats!

Finally, the Life Legendary... the 0 Mana Life Legendary:

Soul Fiend

This is the first Fiend we are seeing finished, and I am super excited about these 'fiend' 0 mana legendaries!! I believe they will keep with their Splinters, and be representative of a Chicken type monster, but with abilities that complement their splinter.

Because of this, I believe Soul Fiend will have 0 Mana Cost, with 1 Magic (eventually in its levels), 2 Health, and 2 Speed. I believe it'll have buff and support abilities as it levels, like Strengthen, Cleanse, and Divine Shield. This would make it have a cool set of buffs, cleanse, and protection that Life is known for.
