The Splinterlands season ended earlier this week so I want to review my rewards and check up on some things in the game. I didn't get as many fights as I would like in Modern because I have been more focused on Frontier. I didn't do any fights in Modern until the last two days, and it was a struggle to reach Silver this time around. I did get there eventually after I used the win streak bonus points.
Season Rewards
I ended up with 3,147 Glint for last season, which is slightly less than what I was getting before. I had to do quite a few fights during the last two days to get that Silver league in Modern.
I did get two league advancement rewards in Modern. It was about the same as last time because I got one rare again.
I went for one epic this time. I felt that getting some epic cards (which are rarer from advancement chests) was the better choice. My stash of backup Glint is gone now, so I will probably go to rare cards next season. I don't think this card is too useful to me, but I do think it's nice to have another magic monster in my fire deck.
Gladius Packs
I got 5 packs this time around, and the opening seems slightly better than last time. There was two epic cards.
I was able to upgrade Isgald Vorst to level 7. This gave the card one more armor. It's too bad that my summoners in Modern can't play this card, and I can't use it in Brawls due to my placement in gold foil frays. This is a fairly good card because of its fast speed, opportunity, and bloodlust.
SPS
My SPS rewards were higher than last time. It looks like I earned less in ranked battles, but more in brawls.
I plan on staking all of the SPS I got from staking for a total of 126.058 SPS. The total SPS was around what I usually expected if I factor in the time difference.
Conclusion
This season had its good sides and bad sides. It's rough because I had trouble getting to Silver league in Modern. I did get one epic card from my league advancement chests, and I did get some good luck in my gladius case openings. It's too bad that I missed out on one Brawl, but I just have to be more careful next time.
